Last Wednesday Juneau and Xena's radio show was a primer for first time listeners of Adam Lambert. What ten songs would you play for someone to show Adam's vocal, technical, and interpretive mastery? They solicited fan recommendations and used them to build the list. Here is what they played: 1. Come To Me Bend To Me -- overwhelmingly recommended 2. Come Home 3. Born to be Wild 4. Feeling Good (or A Change is Gonna Come from Idol. A call-in listener got to choose which one to play) 5. Aftermath 6. Soaked 7. Fever 8. Broken Open 9. Can't Let You Go (they read my rationale for recommending it!) 10. WLL Fantasy Springs (did not have time to play it, but said that was the last song on the list) www.blogtalkradio.com/juneauxena/2011/05/12/juneau-xenas-salon

Yep where are the Sunday essays from NoAngel and Q3? Entitled much? LOL, I'm so sorry, guys. I can't speak for Q3's whereabouts, but RL hit me really hard this past week and I needed to take writing my Sunday thingie off my plate. Back next week, I promise! No need to apologize - you're definitely entitled to take a week off now and then (rl can be a bitch sometimes, can't it?!). But I just wanted you to know that one of the reasons I look forward to Sundays each week is your posts!! And I missed both you and Q3 today!!

I rarely say negative things about people but if this article doesn't show that this "psychologist" doesn't deserve his PhD (or he got it from Moosehead University) you can read his article about Gaga to confirm it. I don't care if Scotty McCreary does win, this guy should have his degree taken away for abusing the DSM label "Schizophrenia" in a sensationalist pop psychology article and wielding it in a description of Gaga. He is using the word to shock and to make his writing more edgy and interesting. Lady Gaga is a pretty interesting case study. However, she does NOT show moments of schizophrenia. A grandiose persona and deity performance does not a momentary schizophrenic make and the word should never be used in this capacity by anyone but most ESPECIALLY NOT by a psychologist. (Pet Peave - "psychologists" who love to throw around labels. Don't really care so much if others do it. But psychologists should NEVER. Labeling is a dangerous little weapon in the hands of the ignorant and those with skeezy motives.) OK, Rant over. Back to happy place. A psychologist does not have medical training therefore would not be diagnosing Schizophrenia. A pscyhiatrist would be, but you are correct because no psychologist should be throwing around any medical terms like that willy nilly. Yes, it does not take an MD to know how to use psychological labels appropriately and respectfully, a PhD in psychology would necessarily include this training. And with a little common sense, sensitivity, and personal integrity you might not even need doctoral training to learn the "respectfully" part.

Beautiful Minds Musings on the Many Paths to Greatness by Scott Barry Kaufman Why Scotty McCreery Will Win American Idol www.psychologytoday.com/blog/beautiful-minds/201105/why-scotty-mccreery-will-win-american-idolInteresting theory..Adam mention This year's James Durbin was extremely talented and put all his passion into every single performance, but like Adam Lambert who was eliminated in the finale two seasons ago, he came out too stong, too early. Also like Lambert, Durbin was too good, too out there, made too many voters uncomfortable, and did this all too consistently. Totally disagree with the 'Durbin was too good ' comparison, so will skip this article and focus on the INCREDIBLY beautiful BB photos

Did anyone happen to keep a picture of the shoes Gaga had on the night of Idol (last Wednesday)? If so, could you DM me the picture please. Thanks.
