THIS!!!! I stated that in my post too..situational ethics. That said, I am still on #teamtakeitdowntilweknowwhatthehelltodo but it does open a can of worms as to where the line of privacy is drawn in the virtual world, not only with Adam. I think this will lead to enlightening discussion. I think the line is easy. Any picture that isn't from a public source or directly linked from one of the people included in the picture then it's off limits. Random tweets of pictures probably shouldn't be posted because we don't know where they are originating from. JMO of course but it's not situational ethics. Adam is a celebrity but he's also a private human being who would like some moments in his life that are solely his and his friend's and families and they aren't for public consumption. Hey, you can put away the rocks..I'm on your side. I was merely expressing that privacy in our world today is a slippery issue. That is all. I totally respect Adam and want him to have privacy. Absolutely. Please do not misunderstand my intent posting<K? Peace??  ETA: I also think the guidelines you posted sound very reasonable and make a murky area much more clear on Atop. And since Rebecca Shaefer, California has instituted some laws to make it safer for celebrities, like keeping car registration and DL info hard to get. Not sure if there are psychos out there stalking him, but I do know that the So CA fans I have seen at some venues, like the Uh Huh Her show are fans, but not psycho. They are, at the end of the day, pretty respectful. Like the girl that didn't tweet about Hotel Cafe the other night. Can't see any of the ones I am familiar with knocking on his door. I'm not even thinking about fans. I was thinking more on lines of the psycho haters. |

It does not preclude individuals from finding photos on the twitterverse or sharing them privately if they think it is okay, but for here, public sources or directly from someone in the pic works for me. Who is Stephanié Moeller? This is the same lady that was at Danielle's birthday party and posted those pictures on Her facebook and tagged Danielle. Adam should have a little talk with Her about posting private pictures of their parties on facebook. This is the second time She has leaked pictures, so either She doesn't understand they will get pick up by Adam's fans or Adam doesn't care. IDK |

(Back from watching Game of Thrones.)
Here's the thing (and it may get me stoned with rocks), I saw that pic earlier and it made me uncomfortable. I am also uncomfortable when the parents tweet out a lot pics of their babies and stuff about their personal lives (vasectomy, etc.) but that's me. I am probably old fashioned and wrong to feel this way so I scroll or make no comments.

I think this will lead to enlightening discussion. LOL, something just occurred to me while I was making dinner. (Erm, are you burning yet? Okay, good.) First of all, I'm sure ninjas can triangulate view, etc. and figure geographic location out. I'm so directionally challenged, that I wouldn't recognize place if I lived right next door. However, Maps of the Stars Homes are a cottage industry in L.A. Tours are done by multiple companies a day. Celebrities know that. Now, does he make the tour at this point? I doubt it, but hopefully, with security, a long, gated driveway, etc., he's prepared for the time that he does. Bottom line: Many celebs know that fans know where they live. That being said, I would always strive to do/say only what Adam was comfortable with. I think our mantra should always be to respect him first.Agree 100%. On that note, goodnite, all |

So, just wondering...is anyone else still waiting to receive their signed pic of Adam from the charity water drive incentive? Just remembered mine never came. You need to contact them directly. Mine did not come and Lane said that everyone on the list was sent and if I was supposed to get one and did not, than the charity water site needs to send her an email that I was eligible. I did that and got the picture within a week. |
