I am ok with a Faustian bargain. Gimme top 20 published and I will live with less of AI though I know it will affect Billboard. Certain bragging rights about a top 20 song. Maybe I am dead wrong on this. Also maybe AI will come up if more stations add spins after iHeart is over and with the new round of publicity following GT vid with Queen If Ghost Town gets into the Top 20 some stations that haven't been spinning it will pick it up as some Top 40 stations only pick up songs in the top 20 which is why they always boast playing the hits. They only play hits. Other stations that played GT before will pick it up again if it is a top 20 song. The fact they played it before it was a Top 20 song is almost guaranteed they'll play it again when it is a Top 20 song.Top songs get played more than others obviously exposing the song to possibly more people or at the very least playing it over and over again causes it to become a hit as it is constantly being heard. We need to get GT into the top 20. Request, stream, etc. Fingers crossed !!!!! That's the impression I always had. Wonder if the Cumulus stations would start spinning more if it is in the top 20. |

Hope SNOL will give GT a "counted" spin tomorrow! Patti said that there will be no SNOL since all iHeart stations will carry the festival in Las Vegas. So perhaps no one gets spins on Saturday night on iHeart? Kind of doubt the performances would every count as a spin. So it could be an advantage. We should really request OpenHouseParty unless they also will carry the festival. IDK |

The building chart just updating. Interesting developments! X-Amb passed both Calvin and 5SOS. They are now right behind GT by 330 spins. XAmb will not be on any countdowns yet (I don't think.) But it could get some SNOL spins. Platten is only 476 spins ahead pf GT. Saturday night will be NO SLEEP!! << Yes, I will be that obsessed about it!  |

Having a Top 20 song that went recurrent will definitely be a status symbol for GT!
