Rihannsu, why would the Sunday morning numbers and the published numbers be different? It happens occasionally. Mediabase just finds spins they miscounted.

I'm right there with you! I'm in the Chicago area, too, and heard GT two days in a row just during my short trips to the grocery store. A few days ago, I heard it on one station, then a bit later flipped stations and heard it playing again. My husband has been reporting each day that he is hearing it during his commutes. You are right that previously he's been pretty much ignored here; WWFM played some on our HAC station, but I remember being shocked to learn that the song was a big hit other places in the country. This is so exciting! Ya, the 2 Chicago Top 40 stations have gone bonkers over Ghost Town!! Those 2 stations together are giving it over 100 spins a week! I think WBR did a fabulous job of breaking Adam into new markets. Same with KIIS LA. They only played WWFM a few times the week of Wango Tango in 2010! Then dropped it! Now, GT is #6 on its playlist! Add in SF, NYC, Detroit, Cleveland, St. Louis, Miami and it is a beautiful thing! Today's update is about exactly what I expected. Tomorrow should be better. If not, I might be concerned or I might just be happy with #22! Skrillex will be gone next Sunday. 5 SOS should drop below. I am watching Platten too because I expect that song to nosedive. Tomorrow's numbers will tell a lot. Monday numbers still have the weekend countdowns on them. And all those songs dropping are still in all the countdowns. Calvin Harris is moving up but he is far enough behind to stay under GT as long as GT doesn't keeping going negative. So, prognosis for next Sunday is aout as wishy washy as I've ever been; "Somewhere between 18-21!" Yup. That sounds just about right - wishy washy, swishy fishy 18 - 21 kind of

In the case of Bad Blood, Big Machine might actually want the spins to slow down dramatically. Its spins are holding back Wildest Dreams. We've seen big songs suddenly go into a tail spin & disappear in a week (remember Minaj/Guetta) which is what i am hoping for BB. Longshot, but it could happen. Right now I am choosing to ignore the building chart until Wednesday! (Except for where it benefits GT like the negatives of BB, Platten, and 5 SOS!) Love WBR but they might have miss-timed this last push by about 2 weeks. Stations are picking up but not sure it can overcome the stations that have stopped or slowed down by a lot. IMO, what "hurt" GT's advancing faster was Cumulus never kicking in and Sirius Hits One never really getting fully on board! But I think the WBR team did a fabulous job, overall. They got Adam back on radio, in major markets, in a big way! I am ready for ALN! << #RollingMyEyesAtMyself

Rihannsu, why would the Sunday morning numbers and the published numbers be different? It happens occasionally. Mediabase just finds spins they miscounted. For various reasons. Any errors that cropped up during the week are corrected for on the Published chart figures. Miscounts, panel changes whatever the cause. In this case it was a +3 spin adjustment plus accompanying AI adjustment. On some occasions even during the week if you check in the evening it's possible for there to have been a correction. Most of the time they just make the changes for the published chart though. It's not at all unusual.

QAL is only 2 weeks, BB! Done on the 30th! The timing is perfect! << Another example of WBR and DMG having their "shit together!" ETA: This is funny! A new "starter! WKSZ-FM Appleton, WI

List: requestadamlambert.com/daily-to-do/Guess at least some getting ready for the next single. In the Netherlands GT is still wobling between #10-#20 in iTunes and spins are still great. I didn't get the Airplay chart from last week yet, but expect a hold or maybe even a little rise. In Spotify it's still #11 (equaling it's peak). So no downfall yet.

Still hoping we will see top 20 which was always in my mind (the majority of one that I am!) a real goal. Then I can let it go. I will be in NY on the 8th to hear Adam introduce his new single - first outing after QAL I believe.

I'm at a loss to understand how that Macklemore and Ryan 'Downtown' is doing so well. I rush to change channel before it gets to the chorus and that girl starts shrieking like a tortured cat. It think it might be the worst song ever recorded and I say that as a fan of 'Thrift shop' and 'Same Love'. Just goes to show that if you are one of the popular artists you could put out any crap and radio will play it.
