Ahhh, I do remember something about one of sites nos being different because Kworb has Omi at 138 days and I thought recurrent was 140 days which would be, let me see (looks at calendar), Saturday. I see, right on the cusp. OK then, 20 or 21 with my fingers crossed for twenty.

So will GT go recurrent on Oct. 4? Or does that on,y happen if it's been in the top 15? I know this has been explained before...

OMi doesn't go recurrent his week, not until Oct. 4th, same week as GT. The numbers all depend on Calvin Harris staying below GT and Platten's drop. Just to clarify, we are all assuming that 5SOS will drop below (seems a good assumption) and we know Skrillex will go recurrent = 20 Then whether it gets to 20 depends on EITHER Calvin staying below or Platten dropping below. Is that right?

It was not in the top 10. It will just eventually drop down (or be purged? Don't remember the rules for that) Cheerleader is eligible to go recurrent when its longevity date is reached.

GT will go recurrent anytime after Oct 4th that it has 2 negative bullets in a row. That 2 in a row refers to Sunday officials only. So it can stay between 10-40 for a very long time! I am out shopping but when I get home I will bring over the link from All Access that has the recurrent rule for songs that did not get to 10. Linda, I think the discrepancy in KWORB is that they count weeks from Top 50, but should be using when the song hit Top 40 instead!

Thanks patti, that's what it was. I tried to sign up for the free version of mediabase but got lost in some kind of thereisalreadyanaccountbythisname/pleasesignin hell. I was going to think up a new name but got distracted ....

OK, here are the most current recurrent rules: MEDIABASE has changed its recurrent rules. effective APRIL 1st, 2012 with the airplay week of MARCH 25th-31st. For all formats except Country and AC: Songs below No. 10 are removed from the chart after 20 weeks provided they have peaked in the Top 10. If a song has not peaked in the Top 10, it must be down in spins for two consecutive weeks and have been on the chart over 20 weeks. For AC: Songs below No. 5 are also removed after 40 weeks and/or songs below No. 10 are removed from the chart after 20 weeks - See more at: www.allaccess.com/net-news/archive/story/103947/mediabase-revises-recurrent-rules#sthash.4QknqHtw.dpufSo, Oct 4th will be 20 weeks for GT. I guess counting the negative bullets starts the following week then?

I guess counting the negative bullets starts the following week then? I think you could read it that the two weeks of negative spins could come before the 20 weeks. I.e., if it has negative spins for weeks 19 and 20, it might be out. At any rate, unless GT has a huge resurgence in the next two weeks, wouldn't you expect WBR to go ahead with ALN in time for the next round of promo starting with the October 8 show in NYC? (When I have no wifi about Oct. 6-20!!)

It was negative for longer than 2 weeks but hadn't reached it recurrent date.
