Folks, this is billed as an ACOUSTIC concert. Could that be true? If it is a full acoustic concert I might just have to fly up there for it! It says "almost" acoustic. Oh.

My cute 4-year old grandniece told me yesterday that "Let It Go" (which she can belt out wearing her Elle costume with all the hand gestures) is no longer her favorite song. When I asked her what her new favorite was, she answered "Bohemian Rhapsody"! Then she started singing and she was quite good. Turns out she learned the song from the Muppets. So I turned the TV on and let her watch QAL's version and she was mesmerized. She smiled and recognized Adam right away. She has loved Adam since she was 2 years old and especially loved him and his puppet from Glee. In fact there was a time when she was 2 that she would wake up asking for Adam and would cry if her Mom wasn't fast enough to turn the video on. Wonder who influenced her?

Christmas concert would make one think that there might be Christmas music, no? I have been waiting for six years for someone to convince Adam that a Jew can sing holiday music! I know this would never happen but I might give a future grandchild to hear Adam sing O Holy Night.
Any Holiday music would be eaten up by most of the fandom, tout suite!

Wow, thought I might fly home to see this but it is in Worcester, not Boston, and is only 1600 seats. Why, God, why? Loads of medium sized places in Boston and he will sell out in a nano second. Damn, pout. It is a beautiful hall though. Folks, this is billed as an ACOUSTIC concert. Could that be true? If it is a full acoustic concert I might just have to fly up there for it! Cassie, it does say acoustic concert on the stations web site. Also special guests to be announced.

I don't have time to reply on different parts of this thread, so just a few comments. Corboda was fantastic, of course. Love his playful STL and KQ. And WWTLF is sublime each time. He does indeed own that song, and I think BM would agree. I do agree with the person here who says they prefer GT without that high (too shrieky, IMO) "GHOST TOWN." I like how he did it this time, keeping in the same range as the song. The very high version kind of detracts from the flow of the song. JMO of course. Love seeing his performance calendar fill up before the new year. I'm sure he's thinking about his tour beginning in January, how it will look, dancers, visuals, etc. It needs to look BIG, IMO. After his work with Queen, I think people expect a bigger stage show from him than he has had in the past. Can't wait to see how it comes out. ALN is off to a great start in lots of places. So anxious to get it started here in the U.S. Of course, GT just keeps on chugging! Got a full day of stuff to do. Just had to check in.
