I snuck in and out of CT for Foxwoods back in 2010! My family still doesn't know I was there!

There are not VIP tickets but there are priorities on the presale.....and donor and season ticket holders get preferential treatment.

My experience in this venue is there are many good and great seats. And the acoustics are great.

There is indeed a ton to do in Cleveland -- if you like snow and cold. It will be December on the edge of the snow belt. We have a world class FREE art museum, the Rock Hall of Fame, over 30 other major museums, a world class symphony, a very active theater and concert schedule etc. BUT IT WILL BE COLD AND PROBABLY SNOWY.

The venue is awesome: Connor Palace at PlayhouseSquare

The last of the four principal PlayhouseSquare theaters (and the most expensive to build at $3,500,000), the Palace Theatre, renamed Connor Palace in 2014, opened Nov. 6, 1922 as the flagship of B.F. Keith’s vaudeville chain. The sign atop its building advertising the Connor Palace was “the world’s largest electrical sign” circa 1921. The Connor Palace’s elegant lobby was highlighted by a million-dollar art collection and another “world’s largest”…the largest woven-in-one-piece carpet. The venue showcased the likes of Fanny Brice, Bing Crosby, Houdini, Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra and The Three Stooges before changing over to films. In its current role as a “legit theater,” the Connor Palace seats 2,800.

Q3, what can you tell us about hotels near Cleveland Playhouse Square? The Wyndham seems to be the only hotel at the square, and I booked a reservation there (which can be cancelled), but it is very expensive ($209/night with taxes).

There are less expensive places to stay that are near Playhouse Square. You want to be close to the venue. It is the nicest part of downtown Cleveland and has a lot of restaurant choices, things to do.

There are some nice but some very marginal B&Bs in Cleveland. Take this route with caution.

If you are visiting Cleveland for the first time and like art museums, it is a quick cab ride to museum cirhercle to go there.

If you are in Playhouse Square, you can walk to the Rock Hall of Fame.

Since I am sure all the Cleveland chatter is really boring people who are not coming here, I will set up threads for Cleveland and the other upcoming Adam concerts tomorrow. I will add some tourist and travel planning info for Cleveland.

ETA: If you like craft beers, Cleveland is home to several of the countries best micro breweries. They have tours.

I did the same thing in the Philadelphia area and LA a few times. Sometimes it is just easier.

But not that I am "out", my family expects me to show up whenever Adam is in town. I think my days of sneaking around are over!
