Subway is one of the largest chain fast food places in the uS -- think McDonald's but with healthier food -- they serve sub sandwiches (specialize in "footlong" sandwiches). Good and pretty cheap, too.

Gelly I don't get his tweet either : but was just trying to explain the origins of Subway and Jared. Lurve Adam's random tweets tho OK - Gelly is just waking up for breakfast and I'm in need of dinner right now. #timezonesareseriouslyweird OT - I'm pretty happy right now... Three days ago I had my appointment at the 'two week after surgery' hospital clinic. They gave me a total ALL CLEAR at the very lowest of every level except one which had minisculey just slithered over to the next grade by 1mm. I still need to have appointment with radiologist/oncologist to discuss further treatment, but if I go ahead with radio therapy it will be 'future proofing' - not on a 'need to' basis. Three really good things happened for me last week. I found a housesitter for my Mum's house - despite the issues, I got clearance from breast cancer \o/ and.... my brother finally rang me. He has been incommunicado and 'silent' since he found out about my Mother's Will two years ago, which he was seriously unhappy about, despite not being around to help or in the country for the last 45 years (he lives in Papua New Guinea). So, for the first time in many, many, many months - some really good shit went down. Catz is happy ;D

NoAngelHappy to see you're back this Sunday! I had never seen the Michael Orland quote before. Thanks for that and another thought provoking article. Here's another quote about thanking others: "...the Metropolitan credo is to develop talent, not create "stars," so during Lambert's teen years, he mentored younger actors (which she said involved everything from "teaching them a dance step to wiping a runny nose"). And he was cast as often in the ensemble as in the lead -- even though he had the kind of talent she said "you only see once in a lifetime." "It grounds them. It's like being part of a team or a family. It teaches you humility," she said. "Adam truly is as genuine as he looks on television. His family gave him a great foundation, and I like to think we helped give him a lot of good values. Did you see on every 'Idol' episode how he thanked the orchestra or the band? Those are the things we still teach our kids today. You get what you give. What you put out there in the universe comes back to you. And you see that sense of kindness and generosity in Adam's persona."

Well, I got this started, but there is a lot of missing information. Here is what I did: I sorted the members by number of posts. Starting at the top, I marked the location shown in their profile. I've gone through the first 150 top posters, but 40+ had no location identified, so I put them all in the North Pacific Ocean! You can see the results here: tinyurl.com/ATOP-Member-Map. If you click on a name in the list to the left of the map, it will show the location of that member. If anyone wants to be moved out of the Ocean, or have their location refined, just PM me with your preferred location. I'll add more members as time permits. Thank you justkaren PM to you I thought that every one here knows, where our Northern Lights are. Here's a happy dance for you.

Catz
Yea! So happy to hear your good news!!!!
Gelly
I haven't been able to do more than peek in the last few days, been visiting family in the Knoxville area. Last summer I combined the trip with Adam's concert. I sure wish there had been another concert this year.
Anyway, I think I missed something about you. I hope things get better.
