Cambridge guides add ‘touch of sparkle’ to Addenbrooke’s patients

Touch of Sparkle is a charitable project which provides little 'care packages' to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. , 7th Cambridge Guides kindly agreed to decorate and pack our next batch of 50 bags as part of their community programme. The bags were decorated with stickers, glitter, drawings and personal messages to brighten up the bags and cheer up patients.
A charitable project which provides 'care packages' to patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment has reached a milestone.
Since a 'Touch of Sparkle' was launched in April 125 care packages have been given out - and a further 50 which were decorated by the 7th Cambridge Guides to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The guides decorated the bags with stickers, glitter, drawings and personal messages to brighten them up and cheer up patients as part of their community programme.
The packages include practical items such as bed socks, tissues, takeaway vouchers and sweets along with distractions including puzzle books, pens and earphones and pamper items. And this latest batch include a copy of Adam Lambert's new album, The Original High who is going to be in the UK this week to promote his new single.

After the conversation yesterday re Adam not on the digital cover etc... Well hey!!! Looks like many involved with The Attitude Awards will get a wonderful momento/keepsake.  Adam's cover is the best!!
The circulation of the digital edition of Attitude is around 10,000. More than 10,000 people saw Adam's cover on Twitter yesterday -- forget about the rest of the exposures. It could turn out to be the most viewed cover of the set -- including the Liam Payne cover.
