OMG!! Ame/Anne!! Seoulmate! Still getting to know my way around this wonderful site! How are you? Are you going to WinStar? I am and hope to see you there! I'm still working to remember who everyone I meet is and thought of you! I don't know for sure if we met in San Diego at the after party, but I do remember you welcoming me to this site! So much to learn! I just found out that joining was an option, so did, so I would be sure to get the very latest. I didn't even realize that joining was an option! So glad I found out! Sincerely, Lenore

Hey there lovelies Do you remember Ame? This is me, the silly one who signed out exactly a year ago. I was broken and devastated after one of the biggest failures in my life. BUT today I'm a completely different person, you know ''What doesn't kill you makes you stronger'' during the recent period I've gained so much experience, and moreover, I made new friends thanks to my work. Also I'm going back to a college on Monday. I missed Adamtopia and lurked here so often. now I'm back to berting and Im happy ♥ Love you'll guys MyS*&@^#r, I was supposed to give you a hug from Sophie in Las Vegas but don't think I ever saw you. Sorry!!! OOOOOO form Sophie now! S2S, Lenore

Awwww Momtomany. I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear Zipper. It's so hard to say good-bye to our furry family members. I'm sure that Zipper has made his way to the Rainbow Bridge, and will wait there to be reunited with you someday. Watch for the rainbow that he will send you to let you know that he is okay. I do know your pain. I've been through this too many times in my life to count. But, treasure the wonderful memories of your sweet Zipper, and know that you gave him a wonderful life. I'm sure he knows that too! Thinking of you and sending you thoughts of comfort and peace. ((((HUGS)))) My son was in grade school. Nov. in Philly is cold. Kept seeing this tiny puppy out early am gamboling about. Inquired/drove up alleyways to try to find an owner. Businessman told me next time jump out and get him/her and I did. The look my son gave me from the back seat of our car. Well 2013, her name is Minnie and my son is 23. When I had serious back and crushed bones in my foot in July, Minnie never complained, unconditional love. Little did I know I didn't rescue her, she gives love/stability/dedication and every day with her is proof I can never repay such Joy. Already gave Minnie the deluxe bed from Amazon for Xmas, everyday with her is my xmas. I know loss of a pet is devastating and I dread it, but do know I made things good for her. Would do it again in a heartbeat.

He was very close to an animal shelter and I think someone had dropped him off in the rain. He was always special as is my daughters cat, who wrapped himself around my head and I prayed his purring would help to heal my head injury! It seems they know when to come and help us heal! How. Could anyone not be in love with a furry family member like these? Lenore

I have deleted my post here. Began to think I had killed this thread....LOL!
Will just leave this....
So my heart goes out to you who have lost pets who have been with you for so many years. At last I can well imagine the depth of sadness and the hole it leaves.....

Had some bad news today. My miniature poodle has a growth in his mouth the size of a large grape. It wasn't there two months ago so I was prepared for the news to not be good. Vet confirmed my suspicions, melanoma. It would be $600-$800 to remove it an its unlikely that they would be able to get it all so it would be back. Given how fast it grew this time it could be back in as little as a month or two. So we will let him be until he can't eat or is in pain and then let him go. He just turned 10 which is not very old for a mini but he was a puppy mill rescue and was way over vaccinated as a pup so I didn't expect him to live as long as my others did.
