FYI, I hopped into the car today, and started hearing Ghostown. Not unusual, except I had left my radio on NPR. Adam's GT was used at the end of the middle segment of 360 with Kurt Anderson. The segment was actually a book review for some guy who is "dissecting" the homogeneity of pop a la Max Martin, and the scientific approach that pairs syllables with beats--with not so much care in what the song lyrics mean. There was no mention of Adam within the podcast, but GT closed it.
The segment talked about Halo and Already Gone (actually the same song, but both hits) and how Taylor Swift no longer sounds "country" with her formerly more fluid lyrical instrumental approach. I went back and listened to the Podcast when I got home--for free on iTunes--and one thing I found interesting was this approach supposedly doesn't allow an artist or group to "grow" like The Beatles growth signified between I Want to Hold your Hand and Revolution (the example they used).

Okay don't shoot the messenger, but based upon yesterday's news about Demi, I have a question. Do we think that Adam will not be able to do a TOH tour in the US due to costs, and possible lack of income from this album, so that for him to tour, he must hook up with some other pop star?? Typically we would have had dates by now for next year. I know that many artists are doing double billing for business reasons, and it appears to the best money-making option for them. I feel horrible asking this question, but any thoughts??? Is it possible Adam might shoot for a US/Canada summerish tour? Demi's tour starts in February 2016. So Adam wouldn't be announcing anything yet. That's one possibility. Adam had two openers for GNT. Who knows how the $$ flows for these tours. My thought is merely a guess. Based on the air we breathe.. #callmeslyphie ETA: Or what Q3 said..

We know Adam can endure a long US tour by looking at the past - 50+ cities for AI and 100+ cities for GNT. Maybe his preferences have changed now and he is more interested in smaller scale tours. Which is fine because fans would fly anywhere for him.

Q3....
You said Phil McIntyre is Demi and Nick's manager. In 2012 Phil McIntyre was plastered on the QAL tickets at the Apollo and on the marquee. I assumed he was just a promoter...kinda like Dainty in OZ. So if he's a manager and a promoter....I imagine he was the primary instigator in this endeavor. $$$ for him? This is a different Phil McIntyre. The promoter is British and is a legendary concert promoter. Demi and Nick's Phil McIntyre is a mid-30's music exec in West LA. Here is a profile of him from Billboard. He has 360 degree deals with both Demi and Nick. He is credited by both artists as being the one who save them and rebuilt their careers. More info: www.billboard.com/articles/business/6677712/phil-mcintyre-safehouse-recordsI have a feeling that the TMZ article was not quite fair to Phil McIntyre. In any case, just being clinical about it -- a Demi tour with Nick Jonas opening makes more sense to me as a marketer. They have shared fans for several years, and successfully toured together in the past. Promoters would be very likely to bank this tour. Demi on her own might have some issues because her 2014 tour was not wholly successful -- many promoters lost money. Oh Thanks Q3....Two Phil McIntyres...lol
