I've decided my favorite Adam line from this pre-tour is "Well, this next song is about a whore."

OFF TOPIC INVITATION FOR SEATTLE FOLKS****BTW, I have already bought my ticket for the first day of the new Star Wars movie...at 2:30am! Still a dork! LOL, I thought I was a dork for going at 7:30 am the next morning (in Vancouver, BC). It's the 4th show after the 3 on opening day. Now I feel like I am losing my edge - I saw Revenge Of The Sith at the first midnight screening on May 19, 2005 (4 days after I met my future wife - to my credit, I remember the Star Wars opening based on the date we met, not the other way round!)

Just wondering on anyones thoughts of Adam not getting any Grammy nominations. I am a Carly Rae Jepsen fan, and was surprised at her snub too. Ghost Town was an outside chance at best. But the fact he was even talked in the same conversation as Grammys says a lot. Of how WB has revitalized his career since the Trespassing era. IT was an unexpected Top 20 Pop Hit. So I think this is a stepping stone to greater things. I predict he well get a Grammy nomination in 2017. I heard a few years ago, people within the industry have a predjudice towards Adam, because they don't get him. Maybe they never well. For the record the Aussie Awards are The Arias, Adam could be up for International Artist of the year. But beyond that, I am disappointed, but not upset.
ETA: Arias have come and gone haha, next year probably as it was before GT really exploded in Aussie. I had no Grammy expectations but I was disappointed regardless. Somehow in the back of my mind there was this flicker of hope, I guess. I think that Adam is definitely on an upswing - public perception of him has changed, he is recognized for his talent, the label promotes him well and gets him on the radio - so looking at TOH as his "comeback album" he might get his foot into the Grammy door next time around. If not, that's okay too. Adam is already successful and he has a good chance to increase his fanbase even more. His international success is remarkable, so let's see how long it will take for a bigger portion of the US to jump on board. I very clearly see an upward trend. About Ghost Town...how much did it explode in Aussieland?

WXLO goes electric for Xmas show with Adam Lambert
By Craig S. Semon Telegram & Gazette Staff Posted Dec. 8, 2015 at 6:36 PM
WORCESTER - For XLO’s Acoustic Xmas this year, Bob Goodell, vice president and market manager for WXLO 104.5 FM, WWFX 100 FM (a.k.a "The Pike") and NASH ICON 98.9 FM - knew they had to take the annual holiday show (slated for Thursday at Mechanics Hall) up a notch.
So, not only did the radio station decide to go electric (hence, being billed as "Almost" Acoustic Xmas), XLO played a little hardball to score one of the most electrifying pop stars out there today, ...
Calling the XLO Acoustic Xmas shows a thank-you to all of XLO’s loyal listeners, Goodell said securing Lambert for the show wasn’t an easy get.
Oh to be the fly on the wall listening to the posturing, and politics that result in Adam doing these free shows. They better be playing his singles.
