Awwww, thanks! I have emailed Angelina to thank her and politely ask her when it might be posted. but, since it is midnight there, I might not get an answer until tomorrow. I'll let you know!

*shrugs* actually, I do feel that AE often has kinda dismissive tone when speaking about Adam... rather subtle, but still. Not that it's a reason to alienate the site. because they don't gush over him and just report the news instead of making everything sensational? to me they are the nytimes of tabloids. I agree that they are actually one of the most pro-Adam gay media sites out there. And while I don't think it's necessary for them to gush over Adam, LOL forever at the thought of them being NYTimes. Srsly they gush like crazy over LOTS of other people. Just not Adam. That's okay, but I do see how the juxtaposition of them jizzing over someone for the 10th time that month and a matter of fact posting about Adam does make people raise an eyebrow once in awhile. That Steve Gray dude is taking it way way way too far though, but luckily I don't see how a random New Zealand former television personality blogger would even be on their radar.

Why no collaborations with Adam so far? Could it be that other singers know they would be out sung? They would suffer from the comparison? Actually, that is unlikely to happen, as Adam has years of experience working with a company of singer/actors on stage and blending/complimenting them. But, other singers might not know that. And, if Adam "dumbs down" his singing to blend with a less talented singer, that kinda defeats the purpose of him getting broader attention for his talent, doesn't it? Not sure how I feel about the idea. I am not that interested in Adam collaborating -- he needs to establish himself as a solo artist first. I have a different, simpler theory. Adam's best collaborators for the current market would be hip hop male performers. Most/all do not want to collaborate with an openly gay artist. Metal and Hip-Hop are the least gay friendly genres. Can you see Adam + Pittbull? Seriously not happening right now or maybe ever. If you want to put Adam with a female vocalist, it will end up being a nice album track but not a big commercial hit -- with a few exceptions - for example: Adam + Pink = potential big hit -- but only because of WWFM and because their voices would work together. But I am happy with just Adam. For big hits, he does need a name vocal collaborator, he needs brilliant songs.

Nah. "Lolly" is just short for lollipop. You know, the candies you suck on. Its a very strange tradition that goes all the way back when most of us were posting on mjsbigblog, and lollipops were passed out at the start of [American Idol Season 8] concert threads. The lollipops then traveled to Planet Fierce, and then to Adamtopia! ETA: [grin] And if you REALLY want to get into the nitty-gritty of things, the lollipops were invented as part of a virtual "time out" chair situation when Anoop fans got out of hand! ;D ah, such good times! As soon as you mentioned Anoop fans, I remembered Alison (I think that was her name). Huge Anoop fan but very snarky and funny... I wonder if she still stans him. NGL, I sometimes miss those crazy early days at MJ's! Yes, good times!! I would love to go back to read some of these when I'm feeling nostalgic, but I wouldn't know where to start looking or if they are even still archived. But I can't keep up with the daily goings on here .

Not sure how I feel about the idea. I'm still hoping he's going to do a collab with Slash one day. To me that's the perfect scenario. Not a voice competition and Adam will get cred with a diff type of audience. Collaboration of Slash + Fergie did not do anything but cause Fergie issues. She got ripped on the metal and rock sites. A collab between Slash and Adam might be fun but will not earn Adam rock credibility. An artist has to earn rock credibility -- an artist cannot borrow it. Just does not work that way.

But if AfterElton is searching on their name not just reading @replies, then that's on them.
