Have never done a cleanse before so have no idea how that would work for me. As I'm not the cook in our household it makes it a bit harder, although DH is generally pretty helpful of my efforts. Have not lost anything in my first week of checking in (and that apple crumble cake did not help, but was sure delicious!). Will keep working at it!

irish, that PMR doesn't sound like fun at all but it looks like the medicine effects will eventually go away. I've had a variety of things that kind of sound like that that just eventually seem to go away. My hubby is the main cook, my DS hardly likes anything, and while I used to go supperless when I was single several decades ago that's now when I have too much.

UGH!! I'm back up 2 lbs and it doesn't help that I am stuck on jury duty for the rest of the month. Long drive and gone from home 10 hrs. Eating junk food because can't take food that will spoil. Very tiring, too, and I am not making it to the gym. Will try to take food that won't spoil.

I've been in twice in recent years but never picked for a jury. I think boiled eggs keep fine and I've found yogurt and cottage cheese can both take a lot of abuse without being cold. Canned black beans rinsed at home and canned pears would all keep for a day even after moved to smaller containers. I tend to subsist on granola bars. You can tell I look at ingredients and not meals.

Wednesday - Check in DayI'm up early and in a good mood. This has been a "down" week for me. Lol, in other conversation that might not be good but here it's great. I upped my water intake and ate Killer Bread which has lots of fiber, maybe that curbed some of my cravings.

I came in at the same weight as last week but I was up as much as 2.5 lbs during that week. So still a yo yo. Monday I did get in a 6 mile walk while the van and my car were being detailed. If I can up my activity level again I should be able to do fine.

Well I'm down 1.2lbs! Had a very good week, discipline-wise, and secretly had hoped for a bit more. But I'm encouraged.... Have walked twice a day for about 45 mins each - with and without the dog (he slows me down...LOL) and have stuck to 5 days of eating well and 'normally' (not normally for me though!- no cakes/sweets/choc).... ....and 2 days of half-starving on about 500 calories. I think as I get more organised I can make the 500 calories more interesting than the fruit/soup/soup of this week. Hope everyone has had a good week....Jablea and Rihannsu sound positive!

Missing my walk this morning 'cause it's raining, but did manage to lose 1.4 lbs. Yeah! First loss since I started back on trying to lose the weight I gained back. Don't know how well I'll do this coming week as it's my birthday weekend, so I am going to allow myself to have some extras and some chocolate! My plan is just to eat the things I normally eat, but less of it and cutting out most of the sweets. Changing my eating habits radically just to lose weight may work for the losing part but would set me up for failure down the road as I'll want to get back to eating what I like to eat. It's hard without chocolate though isn't it SophieB!
Hope everyone continues on the downward trend!
