Yes but I think Pentatonix will fall below. BTW for some reason it was below my radar but PTX is off the Top 40. Weren't they there over the holiday freeze? That was one of the purges Sunday but it was below ALN already so you probably didn't notice. Right. Thanks

Nice robust HAC numbers Though it is inevitable that TS will pass at some point soon, ALN could pass PTX this week and JB What to you Mean will drop so hopefully ALN will be maintaining for next week if TS passes and gaining a position rather than losing one when JB drops. If the spins keep going like this, maybe it won't have to be a jelly fish and can actually pass other songs. That would be novel! On Pop - Looks like Mendes and Elli King are going away. Seems Halsey is struggling. I wonder about whether she has had two weeks of negatives on the published chart or last week anyway cause it looks like this is another negative week. So is it possible we are looking at 43 or 44 if Halsey hangs in? And then there are several songs dropping above so maybe finally cracking top 40 in a week or two? Spin increases would be good though

FINALLY) go recurrent today, so ALN will be back to #44. The panel really should purge Fetty Wap. It has had 3 weeks of negatives except for last Sunday, so they probably won't. But purges don't have hard rules as recurrents do, so it is possible. Especially if the panel takes into consideration how screwed up the charts were last week. HAC has R City going recurrent so there will be a move up to #26 on that chart! The oulook for the upcoming week.Beibs & Swift both have songs going recurrent next Sunday. In addition, Fetty will be gone as will Nelly and Tinashe. They will either drop below ALN on their own or definitely be purged. Also dropping & eligible to go recurrent if it gets below 10 is Meghan. Halsey seems to be suddenly dropping big too but she needs to get below 40. Other songs I am keeping an eye on are Ellie Goulding, she is moving up, could pass ALN. Also, Drake drops a new song this Tuesday. I will be watching the building chart closely!

I guess Drake is an automatic "we must play him" name too, right? So, overall for next Sun we can possibly see a +2, but ALN needs to be gaining spins...

G-Easy? I have no idea. It could fizzle out. There is no previous big success on Top 40 for him. I am not expecting it to move fast. But it might be a surprise. Take a look at those spin counts for #s 48-50. They are 300-400 behind ALN. Remember that ALN needed over 900 spins to make 50?! But, yes, ALN neds to keep increasing spins. It can't be negative.
