Last night's show of the top 10 was slow to start, but def picked up speed and I enjoyed it. Loved Kelly Clarkson as a judge! I like (in no particular order) Olivia, Avalon, La'Porscha, Sonika and Mackenzie and I'm trying to decide about Dalton. I agree. The 2nd bunch were better and I think they did a good job picking the right contestants. I definitely liked most of them. Dalton is totally cute, La Porcha is great but the hair is a disaster! Sonika was better as well. There is something about Avalon that I really like. I think this is the best bunch of contestants than they have had for quite some time!!! |

Yeah, Avalon comes across as a very cool person to hang out with. I noticed she was wearing makeup which I found rather distracting! I understand that you really have to apply some makeup while on television, but I thought the makeup artist should have kept it to a minium since her introduction was all about this is who she is -- makeup free, natural and comfortable. She's very comfortable on stage. Now Dalton is cute but I'm trying to figure out if he is genuine! Maybe because he's more polished but I'm just not sure about him yet. I'm looking forward to this season too! |

How awesome was the intro for this week! Apparently Adam really did win! And there have been no winners since 2009! He really did break Idol!!  |

Loved the intro..Lol.. I have been following a few of the contestants on periscope..the most active on there are the 4 youngest.. Sigh..lol I can't stay tuned in for long..they are just to young..oy..but how much more fun season 8 wld have been if we wld have had access with social media. They sure have had several days off..wondering why..you would think they would be more busy than what it seems..past years the info we had was running to rehearsal/commercials/interviews/fitting..back for more sound checks..song choices.. Always seemed the universal convo was how busy the idols were.. Now we have top 10..and they have moved to upgraded hotel rooms..but seem to have nothing to do..???? Just musing about the compressed season and how different this groups experiences seem to be. I saw an interview of Dalton..by fox?#(maybe 11?) at the top 10 party..the guy definitely knew about Dalton's pass experience with band...almost said it a few times..like how different this was to be here "alone".. How does this compare to... Etc.. Just seemed a little fishy..er funny...Lol.. I wonder if Adam chatted him up because he knew Dalton was the " find" of Fuller/Perez? Was that convo between them deleted? Cause supposedly DM's are contractually not allowed..  |

I am guessing your shock is caused by Tristan getting voted thru and Avalon and Olivia are in the bottom 3?
Cause I sure was echoing that shock.. Now sad Olivia had to go home :(

This AI season is so rushed! I hate seeing two people voted off each week and then it's the judges who decide -- not fair IMO. I wanted to see more of Avalon to see if she could do something different. Sad! I'm glad they explained the facial tics because I was wondering about that.
Then there was that outfit they put LaPorscha in!!! That distracted me from her singing -- which she did well.
I hope they let Adam judge and sing next week -- just like Kelly!

Have completely lost my enthusiasm! My favs got eliminated the first 2 weeks. Now that Tristan is gone, i am fine with any of these 5 winning. I think they all have a future. LaPorsha probably deserves the win. Only 4 more shows! Crazy fast season! :(

American Idol OFFICIALLY announces the American Idols who will appear on the April 7 finale. Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson will BOTH perform. Kelly, on the verge of delivering a baby son in a few weeks, won’t be there in person. But she did pre-tape a highly emotional medley of all her greatest hits a few weeks ago when she appeared on Idol as guest judge.

Since Adam can't be there, I am expecting something about him to be on that Tuesday show. Can't imagine him not being included!

I'm looking forward to those last shows. They look like they will be fun. I've got to say I was impressed with Trent in the final four show.

I JUST GOT TICKETS FOR THE FINAL PERFORMANCE SHOW NEXT WEDNESDAY!!!!!!!!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!! I am so excited! I know no one here is a LOON, like me, but I haven't missed one show in 14 1/2 years! Being at the last one means a lot to me!  |
