#190 on the main iTunes chart. Hopefully it will be <100 before Idol airs.

My thoughts are still spinning around after listening to this song ,in its entirety, only 3 times. Emotional overload, wanting Adam to be above all else, HAPPY. Yet these lyrics are so profound, and after listening to each and every song he has ever sung over the past 7+ years, watching his videos and interviews from all over the world, I feel like he has finally opened up his heart, mind and soul and threw it all right out there in front of us---while embracing us still, even in his utmost solitude and isolation. I can't decipher the quality of the music---I only know that his voice brings me to a higher place---and the combination of the music and lyrics is something I can't really find words to describe. That's probably why I'm circumventing any critique of this song. I will leave that to others, since I only want to gratefully accept the beautiful gift that this young man is to the world-and to me. As we all know, Brian said it best,"He is a gift to the world." In his own quiet moments, I truly hope that Adam finds his space to love and live the life he wants. He certainly deserves that and if he were my son, that would be my humble {and aching} prayer. What a beautiful statement; very well thought out. As the mother of 3 sons, I understand exactly what you mean.

I'll be back later but just drive by to note that this song has such a lovely deep introspection to it. Combined with relatively sparse arrangement and his voice front and centre - just a winner on so many levels.
