If he wants some serious acting roles, why not present himself in believable way, rather than clown around and make goofy app pictures with over-dramatic facial features. I get his wish to be entertaining, but this is not going to get him where he says he wants to go. Anyhow, he will do whatever he feels like, and not listen to anyone, so .....on with the show, I suppose. It is Snapchat -- not a place for anything serious. It is designed for exactly what Adam is doing. I don't think any casting director or producer would ever look at SC vids -- more the realm of 14 year olds.

While I think clowning with the apps is kind of silly, and I'd like to see some more substantive interactions on Twitter and Snapchat, I kind of doubt casting directors are looking to snapchat for inspiration. JMO. Agree! They will just have him to do audition. He did serious acting in Ten Commandments. Quite a lot of actors/actresses who started their career as comedian or playing comedy movies and then becomes serious actors/actresses. So I don't think it matters.

I laughed when he said he's done a lot more, when asked had he kissed a girl... I love this interview/program, though I don't like that they video or when their faces were cut off from the video. Why can they use normal camera?

http://instagr.am/p/BEE3YtNBJkp Strangest release of a single I have seen. Don't get the logic of going to the expense and trouble to record a non-album song with the high profile Max Martin and then do nothing significant other than the one AI performance to promote it. It actually was not produced by Max Martin -- here is what Adam said: “I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring. I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with two great writers and producers; Ali Payami, who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town,’ and Swedish star Laleh who is also a featured vocalist on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.” I have not seen full credit for this song -- we only have partial songwriter credits. So possible that Max Martin has a credit but no indication that he does. NOTE: I have been completely buried for over a week -- and could have missed the credits. Regarding what they are doing with this single -- it is indeed a bit odd. It is possible that Adam really just wanted a new song/single for Idol and his concerts. He can certainly afford to do it if he wants to. Perhaps it is a test single. One thing is clear, it is not being treated as a traditional radio promo single.

I know it is not/does not appear to be produced by Max nor did I say he did. He was however involved with the deal as the hook up and that Lelah and Ali are both involved with Max's endeavors, which was my point. I could have been more precise with my wording. Calling the song a single and then no active promotion pretty much guarantees no success and just adds one more song to the failed single list...makes no logical sense to me.

In the meantime Adam seems to be very happy and upbeat...which makes me happy...as Seacrest said - "for now" 8-)

Well, they have certainly made money from the single by selling the rights to use on the NCAA college basketball finals!!! I suspect the rights to use will be sold to other sporting events - it is the perfect song for this. I bet the potential income from this type of usage will be much higher than the net income of single purchase + streaming - radio promo costs. It may even be a more effective way to promote the song this way than on radio! Make it a big sports arena hit!!!! Q3, Any thoughts on this posibility? ETA - corrected NBA to NCAA.
