From yesterday: I respect your point of view. I just see it a little differently. I was just disagreeing with him saying "taking away from the local fans" part., like they stole them unfairly. If Adam wants locals to have an advantage...it's his show and his income, etc.......then the packages and ticket sales and photo ops should be structured that way for the next tour. Maybe he should just give away the M&Gs like in Russia and put them across the front row of a GA floor. New faces on front at each show....repeat offenders bumped to the second row....lol. There's always gonna be winners and losers and those who are happy and those who are not. Anyway, doubt anything will change for the rest of this tour. Don't know what set him off tonite....maybe a combo of maximum repeat offenders of which some had their cameras up all thruout. I kindof have to agree with Bamafan on this one -- Adam could reserve the front row and select people to be there. BUT without those VIP packages, this tour is not financially sensible. In some parts of the world (like central Canada), they have a local residents only presale. It solves the problem. Locals get first shot, then the rest of the world can buy tickets. It is not all bad. The expensive M&G, non-transferable tickets keeps the tickets out of brokers' hands but it also means that only people who are really committed and have a lot of money to spend get them. I understand the issue, but this tour is much better than what happened with the QAL tickets at some venues -- where brokers got almost all the great seats and sold them for > US$1,000. Or the Comcast execs who had second row QAL tickets in Philadelphia who did not even like Queen and had no idea who Adam was. (I was unfortunately next to them. And I have not forgotten!) I agree with Q3. Also, I think that Adam has conflicting feelings about the videos and photo taking. On the one hand, it is good publicity for him and he has even tweeted out links to videos & photos. On the other hand, every one doing it, especially on the front few rows is distracting for him. One way that this could be controlled is to sell photo and video and audio recording passes for the concert. (I believe that there are some artists who do this.) Only the folks who bought the passes would be allowed to take pictures/videos/audio, they could wear the pass around their necks like the VIP passes. The artist/venue could control which seats/areas to sell passes for and how many to sell. After all, we really only need a few people who take good photos/videos/audio to do this and post/stream for everyone else to see/hear. I have given up on taking photos or videos because there are others who do a much better job at it than I do and they post their work freely. And I would hope that only those people who are good at something would buy the pass for it.
