I'd love to see that demo of TOH stay out there for people to hear. It's so gritty and kind of underground. Not polished to perfection. I love the original lyrics. I think they let us into Adam's inner psyche. I wish Adam's producers would leave his music alone and stop changing it to suit a genre! This demo is soooooo sexy and the lyrics are really good. I like the demo better!!! Personal preference of course and seeing as they never even released it why change it so much. The fan base delves in to all Adam's stuff but the rest of the world only see what these producers put out. I wish this had been given a chance as is. I think radio might have loved this one! What other gems are out there!  I don't think producers, per se, changed this song around. Adam works as a member of a team to create music. He worked with Axident to make the demo, then he worked on a team including Shellback and Max Martin to transform it into the album version. When the album wound up having the 90's house vibe he liked changing TOH to fit, or so it seems from interviews. If they had used the Axident version on the album it probably would have been a bonus song like After Hours (also created with Axident). But I get that you are saying that sometimes you wish the early form of a song had been the one to be on the album. peace&love |

I am just loving this version and I usually skip the album cut. So, as you can see a little tweak here and there changes the whole vibe. Oh well, my loss!  |

What is with ...the food items having the small "t" doubled --"tt" ??   Do they bake/roast pumpkin? Is pumpkin served like this an Australian thing or is this Canadian girl just out of the loop on haute cuisine? (squashes yes...never seen pumpkin on a menu except for pumpkin pie...and dogs who are having tummy troubles.)
Loved hearing the sound tracks. Very interesting to get a sense of the creative process and the end result. One wonders why they would pull the leaked sound tracks down except that if played they garner no monetary credit towards any creators. (taking away plays for the ones that do pay??? hmmm?) Roast pumpkin is a staple here. We use it with roasts like potatoes in salads in pasta, as soup. Pumpkin pie is a fairly North American thing you rarely see it out here... |

I was wondering if he would respond to that entrance at the DNC. Apparently, most singers/bands have no recourse when their music is used against their wishes, due to legalities. But at least Brian spoke his mind. Personally, I can't imagine why a candidate would use the music of a performer who does not support them in any way. Oh well. |

Listening back to back to the two versions of TOH on youtube vid Idolator article used.... I just love them both soooo much. I can't choose. Both soooooooo goooooooood. LOVE both versions. But original is definitely sexier.  |
