I think he looked fantastic and did a wonderful job with that song. It's POP and not meant to be mind blowing. Reminds me of the Country Music Awards show where people were shocked to see how gorgeous he looked and how smooth his voice was. The majority of people in the US still thought of him with glitter, eye makeup and crazy clothes and were pleasantly surprised. I feel like this may be his "push" into American TV again. Something is up the way David Wild has been raving about him. I love this song ,I can't stop playing it.. so catchy and Dancy.. Adam did a great job... Ya know he's made it right.. He's a world wide star .. no need to prove anything...

I am probably overthinking this but here goes ... My first concern when I learned Adam was going to do Faith was that, because of their resemblance and the utter simplicity of the song, Adam would not be able to make it different enough. I watched multiple versions of the song including the original video, some live versions by GM and even a Limp Bizkit version. At first watch tonight, I thought that Adam nailed the vocal and why not, it was not much of a stretch, but that he looked a little stiff. Then I realized that one of the most distinctive aspects of every GM performance of the song is the particular way he dances. It is hard not to do that rhythmic bob to that song. I think Adam was not dancing on purpose because he didn't want to look just like George Michael and when he did dance toward the end, he did that cute knee and dip movement. Also the black and white outfit was a nod to GM's style but with pretty flowers. : The upshot is that I am very happy with how it went. And 3ku1, that is what we do here is analyze, over-think, and then adore.
