Adam mention:ADAM LAMBERTWhen original Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor decided to get the band back together minus late front man Freddie Mercury, they recruited Lambert, the runner-up from Idol's Season 8, to form Queen + Adam Lambert. Anytime one of rock’s classic acts thinks you’re capable of filling the shoes of one of the genre’s most legendary front men, yeah, you’re pretty badass. In fact, the band is currently on a worldwide tour that runs through this month. As a solo act, Lambert has recorded a trio of albums that have combined to sell more than 1 million copies worldwide, all of them making it to at least No. 3 on the Billboard 200.

On the Queen symbol --- Freddie designed it. It was partially inspired by Royal Coat of Arms.
Brian's birthday - July 19, 1947 = Cancer/Crab Roger and John are Leos = Lion Roger - July 26, 1949, John - August 19, 1951 The fairies are for Freddie, a Virgo. They are protected by the lions.
I do not believe Freddie ever explained why he included the Phoenix -- the bird of classical Greek mythology, who rose from the ashes symbolizing immortality, resurrection and life after death.

I've heard that Adam did some wedding singer gigs, but I never saw this picture. What a gorgeous guy to have sing at your wedding. I imagine that lots of new brides were drooling.

I'm eternally grateful that Adam was on AI when the show still had some relevance. After him, the momentum of the show really started to slip. Sure there were very good singers every single year right up the end. But the audience dwindled and didn't seem to care nearly as much. I'm so happy that Adam caught that last start of what was probably the last meaningful year of the show. The author of this article makes some good points. The show did not create mega-stars every single year, not even the winners. It's been a hodge-podge of success levels. Adam is still right up there in the top four or five. Now the goal is longevity. That's the hard part.

"Lambert has recorded a trio of albums that have combined to sell more than 1 million copies worldwide",
That is kind of odd, doesn't he has sold more than that?

Does anyone have any idea what the photoshoot is for? My guess is a UK magazine.

He sold 1 million of FYE in the US alone. 3 million, world wide, is a much better estimate.
