The photo is on page 2; and it's probably already forgotten, but I still have to post my reaction.
I'm talking about the photo of Adam at the Artemis Lighthouse at Burning Man 2016.
Someone, somewhere posted that Adam's "TOH" would be at the Artemis Lighthouse at Burning Man this year. When I arrived at the Burn, four days before it 'officially' began, the first thing I did was ride my bike out to the Lighthouse installation on the Playa. It was far from complete, and I asked which of the four lighthouses was 'Artemis' . . . . it was the smallest one, but with a stag's 'rack' already at the entrance and a sea serpent's skeleton beside. Each day I rode out to check on the progress. The Lighthouses became one of the stellar artworks on the Playa. Completed, it had challenging rope walkways draped between; searchlights panned the landscape after dark, and a fire-spewing light seared the night sky. The artwork inside the lighthouses was equally impressive. Inside "Artemis" the walls were lined, floor to ceiling, with binder-paper notes glued to the walls - notes taken from some tedious (and maybe mind-expanding) college course. Hundreds - hundreds of pages of intricate notes. I read every one, looking for a reference to Adam and TOH. I stood on the 20-foot metal ladder in the center of the lighthouse and stretched out to capture every word; but not one word said "Adam'; not one word or phrase chased anything but my dream. On the morning this beautiful spectacle opened, I waited. I straddled my bike, while a small tractor moved gravel into place - gravel that would catch the ashes and protect the Playa when the artwork burned. I think I was the first person who entered "Artemis" upon its completion. I took just two photos; and I swear the Universe had me capture, on film, one wall. It is the exact wall, and the exact place, where Adam's photo is shown in the Twitter photo brought over. I can say from my heart - Adam's photo was not part of the Artemis work. At first, when I saw this Twitter photo, I was dismayed; then I felt it was disrespectful to the art, and, somehow, to Adam, to present his photo as if it were part of the Lighthouse project. However, as I look at the comment below the twitter photo again, it says: "Adam Lambert's photo was DISPLAYED in Artemis Lighthouse" . . . and, so it was, by an Adam fan who meant well, did well, but led me astray. The photo was unfolded, placed behind the leather pouch that held old photos and slides, and then removed. It surely didn't last long. I know - I climbed that ladder and scrutinized every nook, and reread every philosophic word, every day, trying to catch the bait that took me there. Every moment of Burning Man carries a lesson. I'm learning something from my search. How we can play with words and dreams and quests and make them become more than they really are. I'm afraid of heights. I can't even climb onto the roof of my house. Yet, I did scale that straight metal ladder, in the middle of Artemis, all the way to the top, where I squeezed thru a small hole onto a little landing that circled the structure. A woman from Russia helped me to the top. She told me she's afraid of heights, too - and her way of facing her fear was to move to Yosemite and climb upward. So, through disappointment and disillusionment came inspiration. You won't find me climbing El Capitan, but I may get out our ladder and clear the rain gutters at home this weekend. It's good to be home.
Sorry for this long post. It's the burner in me. The embers still glow.

I got "Kindness" and (while I wish this was truly me) it's not a good descriptor of me. Perhaps there is someone much nicer just trapped inside of me. It's so random and when I started I was a little afraid that my responses would result in Serial Killer, lol. But it turned out OK, I got Wisdom which I is perfectly acceptable because I have been around a little to long to get Dominatrix or Sex Kitten.Q3, you are nice inside and out. LOL...WISDOM spiced with a wicked sense of humour...and WISDOM to know when to use it!
Well it is WISDOM for me too...but...I resent the "old" connotation--- as per a previous poster...( even if true! )

Ha - wisdom for me too. Obviously, I'm still learning. Maybe that's wise.
