There are now 3 (minor) sites that say that Adam not only visited the Western Wall, but had a belated Bar Mitzva there. All three quote the exact same text, and they all say these news are based to a specific online source, but they don't link to it and I cannot find it anywhere - not only the article but the whole source site is nowhere to be found. So... I was wondering if you can have a Bar Mitzva at his age? I know 13 and 83 but I didnt know you can have it at any age π€ If he did than it makes me happy he did it, it makes this trip to the wailing wall alot more special to him!ππ Lol, people, do you think he "styled himself" in that special outfit of shorts and a diy tie t shirt to honor the bar mitzvah ritual? Of course anything is possible .....and yet...

We have no idea how special this visit was to Adam. If having a bar mitzva was that important to himself or to his mom, he would have had one as a teen. Ditto for the visit itself. He could have visited before now. My point is that it could have been extremely or just moderately significant to him. I doubt he will share his innermost thoughts on the subject with us. It's nice that his visit sparked such strong feelings in a lot of posters both here and elsewhere online, both spiritually and religious. I'm a bit uncomfortable, though, with the projection of these feelings into adam. One if the reasons I like adam is that he's not religious. If he were, it might be a deal breaker for me. So, naturally, I get uncomfortable when I noticed the comments here and elsewhere taking on a religious tone. I'll be glad when the next hot topic arises lol Plus, this guy isn't called "rabbi to the stars" for nothing. What religion isn't above a little (or a lot) self promotion.

Again, I am projecting my own " non-religious Jew" view - there is a huge difference between visiting a holy site or even having a bar mitzva and RELIGION, as in "believing in God"... traditions, blood, ancestry, spirit...

Posted on 9/16/2016 5:00 AM GAB Archive/Redferns/Miranda Penn Turin/FOXFox's all-new musical production of The Rocky Horror Picture Show will air October 20. Adam Lambert will play the part of Eddie in the new version, and Meat Loaf, who originated the role, admits he wasn't thrilled initially with that casting. Not because he thought Adam would be bad -- but because he thought he'd be too good. In case you've never seen the movie, Eddie is a motorcycle-riding, lobotomized ex-delivery boy who's killed by the transvestite alien Dr. Frank N. Furter. Before his death, he sings his big rock and roll number, "Hot Patootie." Meat Loaf tells ABC Radio he was dismayed when he learned who Fox had cast as Eddie. "When I first heard it was Adam Lambert, I was really upset," he tells ABC Radio. "Because anybody who can get up on stage with Queen and do the songs that Freddie Mercury didβ¦I mean, Adam Lambert is one great singer." Yes, believe it or not, Meat Loaf was afraid that Adam would be so great in the role that everyone would forget about him. Meat Loaf laughs, "I thought heβd blow me away! I was going, 'Ah, damn! Oh, man, come on! Why Adam Lambert!?'β "So Lou Adler....the producer of Rocky Horror, sent me Adamβs version of 'Hot Patootie,'β Meat Loaf says. And after checking out the competition, the legendary singer says he felt a lot better about it. He laughs, "I listened to it and went, 'Well, that is really, really good. But Adam, Iβm sorry. Iβm still number one!'β

Projection is projection. They're your personal feelings, not necessarily Adam's. It may be special to you that Adam shared in your heritage and customs but we have no idea if it was special to adam. That was my point
