And Madonna is now an independent artist. She can really do whatever she wants. I expect she will take her time. But the evil side of me is hoping (against hope) the sell sells way more than Gaga. I'm with you on this one.I think I might be all Gagaed out.I mean I like some of her songs from the new album but lately her fashion choices and some of her music is pure WTF for me. ETA: mys*&@^#r you're famous girl! |

Happy 4th of July everyone! The new "'gift" from Moscow (these never end!) - a great blog from the person who came up with the purple balloons idea - the anticipation, the preparations, the meet at the airport, the hotel (this is part 1, so the concert will come in a later part)- it is long but not too "slangy" - so I hope the Google translation is decent (I don't have time at the moment to fix it, but I will later this week if there is interest...): airae.livejournal.com/380576.html |

Uh oh, hope Madonna's tour doesn't interfere with Adam's tour. guyoseary Guy Oseary by UKGlambert It's official.. Madonna's 1st day in the recording studio for the new album... Very exciting.. Happy 4th of july... No reason to worry about that yet. Adam doesn't have a headline tour scheduled yet. He needs to put out a single and album, and sell enough to get financial support for a tour. Madonna's tour has been pushed a few times already, so it has no date. (She funds her own tours now so she can tour whenever she wants.) IF they both tour, and the schedules conflict, and Monte goes with Madonna, then I am sure Adam can get another lead guitarist for his tour -- and get a big name. I am not sure that Monte would go with Madonna if there was a conflict. Depends on the venue sizes that Adam gets. Or Adam could be so huge that he tours with Madonna and Monte can play for both of them.  In any case, this seems to me the last thing that Adam fans should worry about. Too many ifs involved. Adam with Monte is great, Adam without Monte is great, just as long as Adam tours with 100 dates. Adam without Monte's going to make the boys at DDD happy  .. they said Adam need a better lead guitarist than Monte :-/.. Personally at this point Monte or without Monte is find with me. Like Q3 said, Adam can get another lead guitarist for his tour if Monte's not available.. a big name |

Wasn't Slash mentioned once before? Personal opinion: Adam is one man name. He has a back-up band. The current band is cool, and I love the idea that Adam was like "You'll be my led guitarist when I'll get famous" - and it got true! But still. The band's got it's third keyboard player and its second drummer, and they have all been great and embraced the spirit of the Adam troupe. If Monte's schedule gets conflicted, there will be a new lead guitarist. If Tommy wants to start in another band, there will be another bass. I like to follow Adam's band. I genuinely like them, but for me, they are, in the end, interchangeable with other great musicians. Would Adam's tour/appearances benefit from a famous musician like Slash? I honestly don't know. It should be someone huge, like Edge from U2 to cause even a ripple, and even then it would be mainly the fans crying sell out. (Though, somebody should try to get Pete Wentz to play bass on one gig. The whole situation would be so weird that it would cause a spontaneous conbustion, I'm sure. 8-) ) |
