I am surprised to read that QAL could not be successful in South, i.e. Florida, Atlanta, Nashville. a) Adam alone, as solo artist, can sell 5,000 seats in FL on top of what Queen can get. It easily could be a 10-12K arena sell out. b) The South has changed. Baby boomers are retiring and many move South. Jobs have drawn further crowds south, so the demographics are different. Attitudes have changed too. I.e. There are huge gay communities in both Miami and Atlanta, another market segment that is bound to show up. c) I remember the discussions in 2009/10, whether Adam could sell in the South, and they turned out to be unfounded. It would be the same here, imo.
Now none of this addresses, what QAL will actually do, that is a different question. But planning an event there should not be a problem, and I assume that promoters have meanwhile sorted that one out, and would react differently the next time.
I took Brian's message to refer to possible TV events too. I personally hope, they will still just tour (whole country).
