Lance is entitled to his opinion, and doesn't have to answer to Warner or to Adam. My guess would be that Adam wouldn't like that statement, because he never likes to be depicted as a victim. I don't know what's happening behind the scenes, wish I did, but I guess all labels are motivated by money, and how much an artist can earn them, whether gay or straight. Since Warner had such a bizarre choice for a second single from TOH album, my best guess would be that they were obligated to MM that the first two singles out of this album are songs written by his team. ALN killed all the buzz around the album, so they chose not to spend any money on TOH (the single), because they weren't obligated to the writers of that song. That's just my uneducated opinion, and I'd love to hear other opinions from people who are more savvy re the music industry. I do not want to say mean things today, but dear Lance does not have a very good voice i fear. Many people are not good singers and still manage to make a singing career as we all know but it still might be a hindrance. Openly gay people might need to work harder to make their dreams happen, as we all see with Adam. To have a just mediocre voice is even harder to put aside as a hindrance when the Person who wants to be a Star, does not have an enormous Charisma and/or a really good PR-Team that make that Person happen. Lance does not have all of that or not enough. Adam has an absolute GIGANTIC Singing Talent, and the same can be said for his Charisma. We still seeing if that can always be said about his PR-Team. I like Lance but there are worlds of difference between him and Adam, the only thing connecting them is that both are gay and sing. I still wish Lance the best of Luck of course. I'm going to say it, that's really mean words to say to Lance. Why do you have to resort to his voice or his talent. He's not criticizing Adam's voice/talent or any other gay singers voices. And he actually said something about the labels and we "don't know" which labels he's talking about. He may talked about RCA. Really listened to what he said, "He's so freaking talented and could be pushed so much harder but .." He's just saying the labels shouldn't give up so easily and could do more for Adam knowing he's so talented. And what you said above in bolded part. Why? IMO, everybody has to work as hard to get their dreams come true so WHY do gay singers has to work harder to make their dreams happen? I think this is also what's Lance said, we'are all the same human being why other has to work harder than the others. This is the discrimination he's talking about not the voice.

Dear adamme , when i wrote "Openly gay people might need to work harder to make their dreams happen" i did not write it as that they SHOULD HAVE TO but that i have no idea if they might have to or not, just we see with Adam that there was a long time talk about sexuality, and was never less optimistic in public. I have really no knowledge if it is harder for them as for straights. In America it seems to be. That is what i wanted to say. I am sorry if i not make it clear, that this is unfair. I stand by my words that Lance does not have enough Singing Talent and way less Charisma than Adam. I am delighted that he was praising Adam, but that does not mean for me that i have to find him more talented than he is. I think of him as a really nice guy and a good boyband singer and i mean nothing bad or criticizing him for it. I wrote that many people have not a good voice and still manage a singing career but not having a good voice MIGHT be a hindrance. I HAVE NOT SAID, LANCE SHOULD NOT SING, just that he has not a good singing voice and that makes having a singing career not easier. In a boyband a singing Voice can be really mediocre as long as the boys are cute. That we all seen and heard often enough. When a former boyband singer wants to sing solo, he needs a GOOD voice and A LOT CHARISMA so that he not only taking over some the former boyband fans, but also get NEW FANS for his SOLO stuff. Normaly there is just ONE per each band that manage to become a successful Solo artist. That is a fact. Lance is not the only former boyband singer that did not have a solo singing career after the boyband broke up, just saying. I really wish Lance all the Luck in the world, but i am not sure if beeing gay is the biggest Problem for him and stand by that. You can think of me as way to mean, i am ok by that and like i said i have no idea about the difficulty of beeing gay and trying to make a career happen, but for boyband singer normaly it is never easy to start over again after so many years.

Have to bring this over. Remember after work with Max on the first album and the success of WWFM he didn't go back work with Max for the second album. Yep, RCA could do more to push Adam out there, but they just gave up and asked him to do an 80s cover album. I think this is going to be my last responds on this since I can see that we talked about two different things. Lance was a pop star but he's some kind of an activist for LGBT right now. I still don't understand all these criticism about Lance talents, nobody's talking about his talents not even Lance himself on the interview. He is NOT criticizing Adam's freaking talent. He's talking about HOMOPHOBIC in the music industry and that include the label.

Something came up on twitter that reminded me of a picture I took, and oh how beautiful Adam was that night. Something just made him glow.

Lance is right, theirs no story here. He was just stating some well known facts. Their is an intrinsic bias againgst LGBT aritsts within the industry. As for Adam. Diddn't Adam publically speak on this months ago, and it trended on Facebook, well over here. But how the industry won't LGBT aritsts use pronouns in their lyrics or something. So I am sure Adam won't publically speak on it, but e knows. well its not like WBR can push him right now, he has no music out lol. I think they did a great job, better then RCA did anyway. ALN kinda killed the buzz. But you can't predict these things, it is all about luck and timing. Let's just hope he gets a single from the next album that is even bigger then GT. Because what he needs right now is a radio presence, but also a big emphasis on streaming. What GT showed, is that Adam can get the big numbers too with the right song at the right time.
