The version of Science Fiction Double Feature that's on the Itunes, is that just Adam, or is that Adam/Ivy duet? Wasn't there a "just Adam" version floating around Atop a couple of days ago? Sorry, somebody on Marie's board was looking for just Adam singing that song, and I can't remember where Adam's version was, or which thread. I didn't realize there were 2 versions, and was hoping to buy just Adam's on Itunes, but when I looked a couple of days ago, the song wasn't available yet without buying the whole album. There are two on iTunes - Science Fiction / Double Feature is the first one in the album, sung only by Ivy, and Science Fiction / Double Feature (Reprise) is the last one, sung by Adam, with Ivy harmonizing. I could buy it separately. |

The version posted on this board was an upload of the iTunes song when it wasn't available for the rest of the world to buy. The video version that Fox put up on youtube is Ivy's version. I bet most people don't know that there is an Adam version out there too. |

Also...pretty sure Adam does not sing all the verses on the reprise version....there is a middle verse that is Ivy, I believe. They sound so similar...and both are purposefully singing with a little subdued grit in similar places, that it is easy to mistake, or find it difficult, to determine who is singing it. It is easier when they are singing together, oddly.

It took me a while to figure out there was really 2 versions of the song, and not just the one with Ivy singing. I wonder why they did 2 versions? How will the non-fans hear Adam's version if they don't know about it? I only found out from Atop.. |
