7.9.11 Adam News & Info

RL is busy these days with family all around, so that is helping me pass the time happily until new music and new performances.

Thanks also to my Atop WWF pals, who give me something to do when I am up before everybody or up later than everybody.

My family is pretty supportive of my stanning and listen and enter in to my stanning discussions fairly good naturedly.

My youngest son did laugh when he saw my charity water picture on my bedroom dresser, where I keep my favorite family photos...my daughter's wedding, my own wedding photo,
my grandson, my guys all playing guitars at my brother's wedding, and Adam Lambert. Heh. The twirp took a picture of the photo grouping on his iPhone and sent it to his girlfriend in New York, lol.

I texted said girlfriend, who is a keeper, that now she can see why it would be important
for me to know if Adam ever comes into her studio for photoshoots. (She works for a photography studio in NYC called MILK, where apparently lots of celebrity photo shoots happen.).

It's good to be able to laugh at yourself, and my own Adam stanning gives me lots of good chances for that.

You can thank Catzmadam for me being here...love her!!! We are two of only 3 people that I know of that travelled from NZ to the US for Glam Nation last year - I went to 3 concerts - first SF and both Costa Mesa shows - totally amazing. Then had organised to go to Sydney show not long after that the NZ concert was announced, so a total of 5 shows last year!

I will no doubt become a regular poster here....you guys are awesome - love reading all your opinions and thoughts as we await #2.... so excited I can't let myself think about it too much! ;D

Hi eri9!! so glad you delurked!! Dang! I wish we would have known you last year. I was at second SF and both Costa Mesas. Almost a year ago ... *sigh*

Well, hopefully next time if you get a chance to come to California again!!

The course was brutal though. I ziplined in Hawaii before and it was a blast, but this time, HOLY CRAP!! 10 lines, one is 1,500 feet long. Three rappels and three sky bridges. (Those were EEEEK!!!) I had a couple of points where I thought I might freak out.

Before we left, we were jokingly, tweeting Adam to say he and Sauli should join us. Actually, there have been a lot of L.A. media out as this one just opened and it's the
largest zipline in North America. (If anyone has heard about the one in Asheville, NC, it's the same company.) They have a huge billboard on Sunset and Vine right now, so maybe A and S will end up going. Seems like a good thing for Sauli's blog and something he would get a kick out of.

You are with the same eight people for about four hours and you really form a bond. OMG!! I can only imagine if anyone ends up in a group with A and S. LUCKY!

We had two guides. We were on about the eighth run and the female guide, who was probably in her mid-20s, asked me about my shirt (my GNL deluxe-pack shirt) as she was
clicking me in. I told her it was from Adam Lambert's concert. And before we had a chance to discuss zzzziiippp! I had to go. My friend, Sandi, did some converting while they waited for me to cross. Apparently the girl had never heard of Adam and Sandi said, "You Tube him! I'm telling you, you have to hear him. You won't regret it, I promise."

The guide seemed excited and said she is definitely going to look him up. I really hope she does.

SFierce I love you! I have been killing myself trying to think of what to get my husband for his birthday July 22. He has everything, and that is such a fun idea! if you have any tips, will you PM me?
