YEAH, finally figured out how to post a photo! I tried this last year and never figured it out so this is the first time posting this. Adam, Cam and LP signature is from Portland. Monte, Tommy and Isaac is from Puyallup, WA. Hmm, wonder if I spelled Isaac right? By the time I got the rest of the signatures and was talking with Monte he said as far as he knew I was the only one who had all the band's signatures to include LP AND Isaac - he told me to twitter, but I still never have cuz I didn't know how to post twit pics. Got to talk to the boys a while but I will wait until the Puyallup anniversary to talk about that - but by then we will most likely be in full on Adam #2 flail. It was very hot and sunny that day. The venue had no air conditioning. By the time the doors opened the line was around the block (pretty big block too) and had backed up on itself. In this photo you see the front of the line on the right, and the end of the line on the left. Adam's bus is the one in front of the door you see some of here. Heard some commotion before the concert and Adam came out and greeted some fans on the side of the block where his bus was located. Adam signing after the concert. Security was trying to shoo away the loiterers (hahaha) that were waiting for him to leave the venue. By the time he came out there wasn't that many people left. Don't remember all who came out with him but Sasha. When they went in the bus Sasha and Adam were standing on the stairs, and Adam had gone to the top (hahaha again). Looked like him and Sasha were talking and pointing at the line - deciding to sign perhaps. Anyway, then the door to the bus opened and I think it was Niel who came out and talked to security. This one security guy thought he was hot shit and puffed up his chest while telling us to STAND BACK against the wall and if we got out of line or otherwise acted up Adam would go back inside... Anyway, Adam came out and signed. This is when I really noticed how present he was with each person. By the time he got to me I had already gotten Cams and LP's signature so his comment to me was "oooh, loaded up, hahaha, and we both laughed as I said something like yes, or trying or such (tongue tied:-) PS. in the signing photo he was in front of a lady with BLUE hair. If you had blue hair and at Portland and want the un-cropped copy of the photo PM me and I will send it to you. The stage was in the corner. Not really that big of one. The venue inside was beautiful...

Catz!!!!Congratulations on putting a vicious five months in the rear view mirror! Hooray. And you've been one tough cookie. Now it's party time: And so sorry to hear about more house shit--hang in there, BB (And, just because when I googled "party cat" this came up, here's a tough-partying kitty for ya!: nedroid.com/2009/05/party-cat-full-series/)Also: Loved reading Sauli's blog--thanks for posting the better translation. I feel for the guy--I've been seas from home before, speaking a different language. Just the mental energy required to connect through that disconnect can drain you without you're knowing it, even when you're having the time of your life. Funny what even cheerful homesickness can do to you--I never watch baseball here--just not my sport--but abroad the crack of the bat and the summery smell of the game feels like home, and I found myself greedily watching the 3am american baseball broadcasts that occasionally filled the dead time of local sports networks. But Sauli (what do I know) seems like the sunniest, most open guy in the world, which is exactly what you need in that situation. I loved the blog for its directness and honesty paired with optimism. I noticed in the comments section that some smart reader--may even have been an atopper, for all I know, linked to a Finnfest that's happening in San Diego in August. Bet Sauli would love to know about that, both in terms of getting a taste of home and for his professional purposes. Dunno if he'll see it in the pages and pages of comments--anyone here with a twitter account care to tweet him the link? ( www.kpbs.org/events/2011/aug/12/9754/) Can't hurt, right? (sorry for the OT post )

Given his high profile as a Finn moving to the US, and his ties to SD through the cute BF, maybe someone already thought to contact him. Hope he goes and finds more people to speak Finnish with .

Sauli's blog is adorable and hilarious -- the man must be a Finn magnet! I just can't imagine where he might be going next week, though....hmmmm..... (hums "O Canada" to myself). LOL He doesn't know we know where he is going :D. But it is great he is going , I believe it will be the first time for him to see Adam's concert. Maybe he saw Adam's concert in Paris. We know they were together there.

Just out of curiosity, how many CDs need to be sold to hit #2 in electronic and 156 (?) in overall? A few thousand?

Hee hee!! I tweeted him the Finnfest link last week (week before ???) when I first received the press release at work. I hope he goes. I suggested maybe he could be a speaker of some kind.
Would be cool if he could cover it for Radio Aalto.

GNT in Europe was over by then. Yes, Adam performed in Paris around Thanksgiving, then went to the UK, then went back to Paris. Sauli would have joined him then.
