Adam putting out an EP means he was dropped by WBR. This would explain why Max Martin is no longer in the picture and Adam saying he wants to put out an album he wants and if fans like it cool but if not whatever. Leaving Shosh was for saving costs. Her clients are all major label artists. All the signs having pointing to this. WBR has shown no interest and anticipation for an artist who is working on his next album. Jason Derula was still getting pimp while he was working on his album. I follow way too many artists to see the writing on the wall. Adam 2017 year is all Queen and this will be his main focus until Brian or Roger drops dead. His pop solo career is dead. DMG isn't even trying but hey make that easy money. It has always baffled me how some thought Shoshanna and DMG were doing an amazing job with moving Adam's career forward. The bar has been set so low for him that any crumbs would have do. It's all very disappointing but Adam is 35 years old now and pop is a young artist genre. I think saying Wbr dropped him is speculation. Not true

Didn't WBR commit to two albums?

Wow...another record lable change for Adam?! We'll see...I don't think what you sayed about WBR comes from nothing but I wouldn't say Adams solo carreer is dead...he had a huge hit with "Ghost Town"...the Trespassing era might have been a little setback from what I hear, wasn't a fan yet at the time...

I'll save the speculation until there is some announcement from Adam or his team. We know he's working on new music (because he told us) and that's all we know... I prefer to stick with the facts in evidence. We don't KNOW anything about Edge, label, management etc. This is an open forum thread (aka anyone can cruise and read it)...

Didn't WBR commit to two albums? Adam signed a multi album deal. That could mean 2 or 3 albums. Considering he was signed after being dropped from another major label coming from an era that didn't do so well my guess is they only signed him for 2. That doesn't mean they are committed to 2 albums. They can option out. EP usually means an artist was dropped or the label isn't willing to commit to a full album and they'll throw it out there with very little support. I'm sure WBR is thrilled with bored housewife Alisan and Ferras working on his album *sarcasm* The first clue that something changed was Max Martin exit. It all feels like trespassing era again.

"Ghost Town" was not a huge hit. A huge hit is a top 10 song. A smash is #1. Ghost Town peaked at top 20 on the mediabase and peaked at #64 on the Billboard top #100. The song sold 350k copies and went gold due to streaming. ALN flopped. These are not amazing numbers. 161 million streams is good but compared to his pop peers who get that in a matter of few weeks is a yawn. These are the things radio look at. WBR A&R team had to practically beg radio peeps to get on board with GT and the song still struggled to make top #20 on radio. This time around we aren't going to get the dramatic press releases about any label, management and PR changes. It's all going to come in subtle ways. Adam doesn't have the public, media interest when it comes to his own music. He's gets it with Queen but it's all based on Queens success not Adam's.

Another Roger snippet 5/5 on iTunes. Whatever this is - Album, EP, Single, whatever - this went COMPLETELY below my radar. I can only remember being completely surprised by a Queen-related appearance, release on one other occasion: American Idol with Adam the first time - I had only watched AI that season on and off - I had tired a bit of Idol but Adam did keep me coming back now and again to check out what he had done - and I was at a friend's for the finale when B&R appeared...but that was it. This one, not even my sources mentioned...

Well, I'm not firm with the numbers but it was on the radio alot here in Germany. He took his TOHTour international...of course no stadiums but still...I'm aware Adam is not Ed Sheeran...Adam got good press from judging X-Facter Australia, he got rave reviews for Rocky Horror, the appearence on X-Facter UK with Saraah was a buzz... I hate to tell Adam what to do, and claim to know what's best, I'm not expert at all but it probably would be a good time to release some solo music while the momentum from the things mentioned above is still there...I might be totally wrong (I HATE to sound like this ) I'll buy his music in whatever form and at whaterever time it is out. I also know that it was through Queen that I came to Adam, and I can't imagine being the only one so I wanna say he's expanding his fanbase with it, even if it is little by little... Yes I'm fan so I'm biased but Adam has been so busy even outside of Queen that I wouldn't say that there is no interest in his person and his solo career...
