Well! It looks like it's really going to happen! Adam must be chosen as a judge! It just makes so much sense. And if the show does not begin until 2018, as Ryan hinted, then all Adam's QAL shows will be over and he will be ready to promote his new music. It would work out fine. Fingers crossed. Never thought I'd be watching Idol ever again, but Adam has grabbed me and he won't let go. Also, Rami was on Stephen Colbert last night. They talked about him play Freddie Mercury in the film. I have never seen him before. He got his break on Mr. Robot, which I never watched but is a hit show. He's got an interesting personality and resembles Freddie to some degree. He's got a hood sense of humor. Looks like he'll be good in the role. He told about going to Abbey Road studios in London to meet with Brian and Roger and listen to some pre-recordings he had done for the film. It would be fun if Adam got a little tiny part in the film, just to show his connection with Queen. Won't happen but I wish it would. Here's the video "Rami Malek Had To Watch Queen Listen To Him Sing Queen " www.youtube.com/watch?v=DXBSlUvCzPk&t=460s

Sheila @bamafanpf 23m23 minutes ago 5 Greatest American Idols twitter.com/bamafanPF/status/862000542398246912 Adam mention:Adam LambertLambert was the runner-up to Kris Allen during the show’s eighth season, but most fans would argue that with his millions of records sold worldwide, Lambert is the true Idol star. With his powerhouse voice and stage presence, it seems only nature that the highly acclaimed Queen + Adam Lambert collaboration began in 2011, leading to several world tours and their North American concert series this summer.

UPI Entertainment @upishowbiz 3m3 minutes ago Adam Lambert on creating new music with Queen: 'Could happen' Adam Lambert on creating new music with Queen: 'Could happen'By Karen Butler | May 9, 2017 at 2:16 PM Adam Lambert talks about collaborating with Queen at a New York press day on May 1. Photo by Karen Butler/UPI Adam Lambert has been touring regularly with Queen for four years now, but he insists the only time he and his band-mates discuss recording new music is when reporters bring up the topic. "The only time we ever talk about that is when we are in front of you guys," Lambert said at a recent New York press day, promoting Live Nation's concert slate. "So, it's definitely not out of the realm of possibility, but it's not something we are actively doing at the moment. I don't know. Could happen." Lambert -- the Season 8 runner-up for American Idol who went on to a successful career as a solo artist -- has been standing in for Freddie Mercury, the rock band's lead singer, who died in 1991 at the age of 45. Formed in 1970, Queen is best known for its classic songs "Under Pressure," "We Are the Champions," "Somebody to Love" and "Bohemian Rhapsody." Founding members Brian May and Roger Taylor are still touring with the group.
