With all the excitement here about Think, I sat down to give it a listen.
I want an acapella version of it. His vocals are awesome. The backing vocals are rich and work well with him.
The one big negative I have is the instrumentation - specifically in the very beginning and during the sparse sections. It's just so clinical, lifeless - like High School Musical/Glee. And quite frankly like WAY too much music today.
it got better when it got more busy because there was a lot more going on. The "Freedom" parts worked best due to Adam and the backing vocalists coming to the forefront.

You mean Think was the only song played during the actual movie scenes? All the reviews I've read about the movie have been quite positive. I'm definitely going to see it. Glad to hear that Adam's song was used as a kind of thematic background as well as the whole song itself. It's about time he got his voice out there beyond the fanbase. Can't wait to see it! Hallelujah was also part of the movie itself.. All of Think wasn't used mostly Freedom part, I wanted to turn the sound up ... the other songs were played during the credits ..Happy to hear the movie got positive reviews ,cause IMO it was GOOD especially for a kids movie. The credits were almost as long as the movie.. just kidding.. the songs/singers listed at the end..

I am going to LA Pride on June 11. Have been planning this for months. If Adam is there, great, but I have no expectations of seeing him since they expect 250,000! Looking forward to seeing some of my favorite people on June 25 and 26. Had a pleasant and wonderful time with Didilynn and Momtomany last weekend in NoCal. Ah, the many amazing people I've met all because of Adam! I think you WILL see him though. Didn't they write somewhere he's going to be one of the speakers? Maybe I misunderstood? My personal hope is, since there are so many speakers there whose job it is to speak, that Adam would maybe do a song? That would be special. Something appropriatte for pride, happy and defiant. I'm sure he can think about the perfect song.

I'm sure he can think about the perfect song. Hi mayumi, wonderful to hear from you! And hope you can hear Adam somewhere, at least see him on screen. So glad for everyone who gets to go. I might be able to go locally here, or at least my daughter should be able to, but I hope I can go too. If he sings a song, then Outlaws of Love is the natural choice for such an event, imo. And there are so many people, who have never heard that song, so I hope he gets to perform it or at least that it is on any playlists that might be used during the event. I LOVE Think. Loved the original too, but Adam did his own thing, and it is only going to hold you back from enjoying the song, if you compare too much. They each stand on their own, and Adam holds his own. His is much more upbeat, cartoon track ready, and I love the way he articulates every word, especially right at the beginning. The song itself also never was so much of a draw for me, but the scene in that car dealership in Blues Brothers was brilliant, and that is the version that I certainly also appreciate just as much. It was never a song that I listened to outside of the film, so I can understand some of the comments here, but I think both that version, and Adam's version are wonderfully done. I am listening with good headphones, and I cannot say that I find the voice being drowned out at all. The production is a bit generic, but not bad, and certainly sounds suitable for a comic film. Just try to run this music while at the same time watching a favorite comic scene from some other movie on youtube (with sound muted obviously on that second video). It needs that light bounciness to go with such cartoon characters. It just boggles my mind that Adam is so flexible in his vocal technique that he can adapt in his style of singing like this, never heard Adam as bouncy as this. There is no way that any of the other pop stars could adapt even remotely like this. purchased on amazon below, and on i-tunes and got it running on spotify, so hopefully that helps lift it up a bit.
