I am upset now because I checked ticket sales for the show that I am attending in Philly on July 30 and there are a lot better tickets available now, closer to the stage, than when I was purchasing mine. I don't understand why these tickets suddenly pop up. They are NOT resale but are coming from the venue. I guess they were reserved and held for someone (press? family and friends?) and then released. It almost seems like waiting to buy tickets is better than rushing to buy them at the presale. Yes, this is sometimes the case. I keep telling myself with every concert to NOT buy something if I'm not totally happy with it...because often better ones are released later. But, I don't listen, and panic. So much for patience and live and learn. For the H Bowl for example....months later TM released a batch of Pool seats for half the price I paid and closer to the stage. You're pretty much stuck. |

This works in the US when the concerts aren't sold out, but with QAL Ziggo Dome and in the UK they sold out so quickly you have to take the ones you get. |

Sometimes it is, it appears. At the beginning of the ticket frenzy it is always hard to tell how difficult and expensive it becomes, but I think I too have learned a lesson. If you only have a single ticket, you may want to try to sell your current one and "upgrade". Unless it is an actual quick sell out, which does happen. |

Somebody said Simon HeySparkey was headed for LA as well. I don't keep up with him, so am not sure about that. Gonna be an exciting next few days doing full rehearsals. Fingers crossed all stay healthy and things go smoothly and w/o a hitch during the US leg. A lot of the diehardfans will be heading to Phoenix next Thursday...so don't know if any will be at the Kimmel taping. Would love more than whatever gets aired. Those who know....will Kimmel air a song or two on that same Thursday nite's TV show? |
