Adam called himself a guest of Queen and then said they have too many hits when talking to audience in Las Vegas.. Gosh I always think of him as frontman for Queen.. How humble is Adam LOL Yes, he does have a healthy dose of humility that balances his outward confidence when performing. But in this case maybe more being canny and playing for the crowd. In interviews he talks about being part of the family... Adam has a reputation for being humble and down to earth. It is one of his most potent charms. What is not as widely known is the man has a genius EQ: emotional intelligence. I have no doubt that Adam knows that humility in a star is engaging and rare, and humility in the guy taking over the reins in Queen is essential. WE get tired of him saying, "Gosh, darn it, gee, shucks, I am so honored to be on stage for you today, and sharing with you the magic that Freddie created with Queen." But for the many audience members who are not Glamberts, that is a key moment in their acceptance and embrace of Adam in his role. It is calculated and cunning at this point. Adam is one smart cookie, and he has worked hard for many years to perfect his craft. He LOVES being the center of attention, and I suspect has a very healthy ego when it comes to his performing skills. He is using them all in the Queen show including prodigious acting skills, whether it be portraying dirty and sexy, silly and innocent, campy, tough and gritty, humble, or pompous. We are witnesses to how effective it is. One thing I noticed during the bows (don't remember which night) was that Brian, Roger and Adam went forward TOGETHER to be acknowledged, where previously it was Brian and Roger alone, followed by a bow from Adam, then acknowledgment of the band, and a final group bow. This to me acknowledged that Adam is an integral part of Queen today, not just an add-on.

Does anyone know what radio did with Rihanna's "Bitch Better Have My Money?" I remember her singing it on an award show. Don't remember them bleeping it but I guess they did.

Gotta respond to a couple things: First, about Adam's "humility" speech. I totally agree that to us Glamberts, that speech might be wearing a little thin. We hear it all the time. But to a first-time, one-time, casual fan, that speech is meaningful and necessary. It defines Adam's role, but it also defines Adam's personality. Humble, grateful, lucky. People who don't "know" him like we do should know those things about him. They're endearing qualities, and valuable ones.
AND, I agree with a post on the last thread about the new KILLER QUEEN. Although it's cute and clever to have Adam sitting on the robot's head, I find it kind of confining and awkward. I terribly miss the sexy, flirty, OH-SO-NAUGHTY Killer Queen I've come to love. I miss his facial playfulness, his gorgeous body writhing on the divan. Even the "champagne" spitting. I hate to say it, but I MISS IT!

Fuck You by Cee Lo Green was one of the biggest songs of the past 5 years. Fucking Perfect by P!NK was big also. I don't think we need to worry about 2 Fuxs. If WBR promotes it, radio will play it & there will be some kind of radio edit for the US. I posted at the very end of last night's thread that I was wondering if the sing along video for the song on the tour might actually be the official lyric video? It's perfect! Anyone thinking the same?

I remember hearing it but don't remember how it was handled.

FYI, Bradford Cobb was at the Vegas show. I didn't see him but my friend did. Also, for anyone that has VIP but has not had their show yet, the pre show events have been very very nice. Relaxing, well run, and out of the heat. No standing in line, in the heat, might be the biggest benefit.
