To me,The pop music world is like high school.. IMHO Adam will always be the wierd kid outside the popular kids circle...It is what it is... I'm good with that ,I really hope Adam feels like his song Two Fux... I can't wait to see this new Queen and Adam show... The reviews are amazing. This is kind of my sentiment, that as talnted as he is, and as much as I believe he deserves more recognition and success, he is probly going to stay at this level. The difference I felt in his recent interviews is that he is at peace with it (not that he doest care), that he may not reach Adle level of success, but it's OK. Whatever the change in his attitude, I hope that he is happy and content and will stay that way! And ofcourse I still hope he does reach that level of success!! God knows he has enough talent to run circles around most of the Pop princes and princesses out there today!!

EDMONTON JOURNALQueen + Adam Lambert hit all the right notes at Rogers PlaceIt’s impossible to believe that Adam Lambert would kill a man.Other than that, the American Idol runner-up was perfectly acceptable as a Freddie Mercury replacement at Tuesday night’s Queen + Adam Lambert performance. The now five-year-old project has provoked grumbles in some quarters as hardcore fans denounce Lambert’s association with original members Brian May and Roger Taylor, but the fact is everyone involved seems energized by the collaboration. Most importantly, the audience at the nearly packed Rogers Place were completely won over.
The two-and-a-half hour concert focused almost exclusively on the hits, more than you remember, with a a Lambert tune (Two Fux) and a rambling (some would say tedious) song/guitar solo off of Brian May’s 1992 solo album Back to the Light thrown in for good measure. May was in good form on guitar and Taylor kept up the pace on drums while providing background vocals, taking over David Bowie’s vocal part on Under Pressure. Lambert kept up his end of the bargain, not only hitting all the right notes but also strutting about in a number of different leather outfits, from fuchsia to sparkly black, taking all attention as his due while also graciously reflecting it back at the two original members.
The set list hit on everything you would have wanted to hear; if there were any quibbles it was from occasional sound issues, like the murky bass on Another One Bites the Dust. May and Taylor were given their moments to shine, including a drum battle between Taylor and auxiliary percussionist Tyler Warren, and Freddie Mercury showed up in several video clips, though possibly one too many, if you have a distaste for duets from the grave. Homage can be a good thing in rock ‘n’ roll, but only in small doses.

Which mutal friend tweeted about Superfruit and not Adam? I guess that most of the time Adam takes it quite cool and sometimes, occasionally it get's to him. Just like we all do. Most of the time (hopefully) we rise above it and just sometimes it gets us. Not giving a shit is probably a constant process. Like he said himself in that hardy-interview. You keep swinging from being quite sure about what you do and who you are from not knowing. About wanting chart success I can only assume it would be similar. Didn't he once say that Queen helped him though that A2 era when he was doubting himself and if people were even still liking what he was doing and that he learned from them to do it for the fun, for the music? If I remember correctly during the A3 era he repeatedly said it's a balance to not get too hung up on the business/politcal side of the hole thing and stay true to the artist. How many fux he gave at what point is hard to tell from the outside. The one thing I'm sure about is, since Adam was in La and close to the spotlight for years before fame hit him, he was aware of how shallow it can be. That's why even though he's a "grown ass man" (and I'm repeating myself for the billions time) it just makes me happy when he has people like Terrance S*&@^#r, Joey Gray, Alisan Porter and the like around... I still think Adam is sensitive in the sense that he is connected to his emotions, something crucial to his job as artist and performer. After all he's only human with fears, doubts, anxieties and hopes, dreams and aspirations..."it's the same damn organ" Oh and about big stars tweeting about others...Justin Bieber and Nial Horan do...

So what might happen to the TwoFux figures if someone like Katie Perry tweeted it out? Just one little tweet.... I really don't know....but even The Superftuit people just thanked him for the (effusive) support and never mentioned his own music, (as far as I saw). Perhaps there are reasons I miss. But - I am coming to believe that where he once gave a lot of Fux, he really doesn't now. He always seemed so vulnerable under his swagger....but now he looks like a man standing on very firm ground, with or without the chart success. I love that he doesn't give TwoFux..... I'm not there yet but closing in fast. One of my mentors was fond of saying What anyone else thinks of me is none of my businesswhich isn't a very catchy line for a song but in essence it's saying exactly the same thing as the message in Two Fux and that's what I love about it. I'm not so fond of "not giving two fucks" as it sounds a bit aggressive and if you REALLY don't care you don't even break a sweat. But as a message of empowerment to a generation blighted by social media likes and dislikes it really hits the spot. And I agree, I get the impression that Adam genuinely has stopped (or at least seriously curtailed) trying to please everyone and is more focused on pleasing himself.

ADAM LAMBERT has Freddie Mercury's vocals beat by a mile... 'There I Said It' IMHO Adam is the best singer of this generation...I just had to get this off my chest.. I've been ranting this in my head for so long that I had to get it out, even if "preaching to the choir." Whew I feel better now..Carry on....... please give Two Fux some love www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLI7OVfeWZ60Asi9XHpVVDHOz5AcGgwgFdOh Mellie, you've done it now - Tallon please step away from the computer!! Of course, I totally agree with you and Cassie has explained why Adam is technically the better singer. And if there were a contest for the best vocal performer in the world based on various criteria, Adam would likely come out on top. But while all of us here luxuriate in the purity of his tone, others prefer something more raw and not so polished. And that's fine, too. People don't necessarily love something because it's the "best in show". Just as well really or the human race would be extinct by now!!
