I think the Freddie call and response doesn't really fit in, and it didn't do much for me either. But may be some diehards need it. I am wondering if Adam was the one suggesting it. I am also on the "21st century Queen" team that pays subtle respect to the former frontman without overdoing it. I would argue that it is just about right. Some Queen fans have said it's not enough. Some wish Rog would still do Days of Our Lives because of the nice band montage that plays throughout. Brian introducing SYW yesterday by giving John a shoutout was nice. I think the idea was giving Adam more of Bo Rap was a good trade off for the Freddie call and response - such an integral part of the Queen show and one that Adam never seemed to be sure of doing during the '14-15 tours. So let a vid do it as it's a Freddie thing anyways. I liked the little add on - it was a nice touch for me. The problem without looking back is that until QAL produces some original material of their own they are by definition a nostalgic act. How do you do a nostalgia act without looking back? I think it's a nice fit right now one already does let QAL shine but still gives respect to what got them there in the first place. Jut my $.02 I actually agree! I think giving Adam almost all of BoRap was wonderful. All 4 shows that I was at, the call and response got a fabulous response from the audience! Pretty much 100% participation. And Freddie's "Fuck you!" at the end is great! And let's not forget that the call and response segment gives the entire band a small break!

My "Queen" news of the day. Mention from my local paper of the Queen Nation tribute band with an Adam mention? www.idahostatesman.com/entertainment/ent-columns-blogs/words-deeds/article159888164.html It kicks off Friday with touring tribute band Queen Nation. And they will (they will) rock you. Seriously, from “Bicycle Race” to “Bohemian Rhapsody,” frontman Gregory Finsley really nails Freddie Mercury. ( Some argue that Finsley, not Adam Lambert, should be performing with the real Queen.) Boise’s own Ned Evett Electric Band opens the show from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. Queen Nation will prove they are the champions starting at 6:30 and play until 8:30 p.m. — unless they need to go on and on and on and on Surely that is tongue in cheek otherwise Some people are truly clueless. Prowl this if you dare. m.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=3898&v=dtCtMneaoIE

Jut my $.02 Valid points from a different perspective, especially the nostalgia reference. I get it. I think we can all be extremely happy with the current show. Considering various needs that have to be met, it is hard to criticize at all.

If he "really nails" Freddy" it leads me to believe that he tries to imitate Freddy. Of course, Adam does NOT do this, which is precisely why Brian and Roger chose him and value so much. He is not a Freddy copier. I could be wrong about Gregory. He could be really good. But Adam is best fit for Queen for multiple reasons, not just the voice.
