This pre-IWIA wailing is something else. cassie, first of all, thanks for so graciously and patiently letting me access your knowledge with all my questions. it really helps me appreciate the underpinnings of this craft. I may be a bit adam-centric, but can you think of any other singer who as a regular part of their show improvises vocally with an instrument? Or even not as a regular part of their repertoire? It just boggles my mind every time. Something primeval, something of how music is in them, not just of them, something about the language of music, something of how he and Brian are so on the same wave length and how connecting it must be for them, something about the universality of it. I can't really put my finger on it, but I think it is magic and beyond.

Thanks for the recap, stampsgal! I love the details - more is more. Especially this gem: "I really was able to see how his body prepares to belt out those big notes. Leaning forward/bent knees, then rising up and the tongue coming out and literally vibrating, or going in and out while going for it. Yet, other times a long note or words/sounds would build and one would never know how he is preparing as externally there was little change --he was already standing tall/head up and that ability would just overwhelm me." Stampsgal thank you for sharing your QAL experience with us!

cassie wrote Again, cassie, thank you. Went back and listened with your observations. Just makes me appreciate his artistry on a whole different level. I really like to understand why what he does is so incredible, because, as you have said, he makes it look so easy it would be easy to underrate the virtuosity involved.

"there’s an entirely new generation being introduced to the music of Queen" - I would think thanks to Adam bringing those classics back to life. The writer considers him a "supernaturally gifted singer".
