And a review I read yesterday said that Adam couldn't hit all the high notes Freddie could? EXCUSE ME?!!! And if Adam were to sing every song note for note identically to the recordings, they'd say it was karaoke. Exactly! He can never please the purists. He can keep doing it the way he's been doing it. With creativity and homage and vocals from heaven.

Yes! Like I said a thread or two ago, his GDML reminds me so much of the FYE days. Sexy ans seductive.

I wonder if Adam bedazzled Brian's shirt or has it always been that way?

Look at Brian's expression at 3:13 to 3:22.. it looks like Brian forgets to play the note to cue Adam so he can be in tune, which makes Adam start the note out of tune, then Brian hits the wrong chord and Adam skips the word "me". I laughed at first, but then felt bad for Brian as he might take these mistakes to heart. It was a sweet moment between them though to see. And at 5:28 Brian almost forgets to switch sides with Adam and go to the mic.. Adam smiles. Live and "dangerous" the way they roll! Glad you pointed this out, pi! I noticed it too, 3:13 had a cascading effect but they just kept going. They work so well together. It was cute to see Adam's little smile when Brian ran to the other side.

While he shares Mercury’s undeniable vocal prowess and his love for adventurous clothing, nail polish and eyeliner, he commands the stage in his own way. I found myself drawn to his voice in the way you’re drawn to a piece of modern art that you don’t quite understand, which might have been part of how Mercury appealed to his first audiences back in the early ’70s It appears that what the world has been waiting for is Queen + Adam Lambert. Their first world tour, which spanned 2014 to 2015, grossed more than $68 million and, according to Pollstar, ranked in the top 50 worldwide tours both of those years. Their current U.S. tour, which hits Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, has been received positively by critics — after their Minneapolis show, the Star Tribune called Lambert “the best thing to happen to Queen since the 1992 film Wayne’s World.” It’s hard to argue with that And as for Freddie, I’d like to think that if he’s watching, he’d raise a glass of Champagne to Lambert in approval. Because, as he once told the world himself, the show must go on. I love this review!!
