Asking again, since my question got lost in the NY pre-show excitement yesterday (by the way, absolutely amazing show!) Quick question: I upgraded my tickets to section 5 at Verizon center in DC, row B, right in front of the stage in the center. I thought I was getting section 2 tickets but alas the dots on the seat map tricked me. I'm 5 feet tall- will I be able to see? I think it's row 7 -8 overall, right in front of the stage, center. I just checked that TM interactive map and you're right, it's screwy and overlapped. You have to be really careful when they do that...putting the Sec 5s on top of the Sec 2s. If you're not happy with your seat.....I'd call TM directly. I think they'd refund your money and might help you get another seat. I have never dealt with them directly, but some of my friends during this current tour have had success in trading seats and getting seats refunded. If it were me....and just speaking for myself....I wouldn't want to be several rows back on the floor beyond the thrust end, especially behind a walkway between Sec 2 and 5. You're already a good ways from the main stage distance wise. You might be OK...or being several rows back, you might be behind some tall dudes, etc. and you'll have folks walking thruout the show in that walkway. The only seats I would want around the thrust are front row....guaranteed unobstructed view and maybe a hand touch...or maybe second seat in along the thrust where you might also get the barricade, or if not you'd have room to maneuver so you can see well. Thank you. There are two seats in row O, seats 4 and 5, in section 1. That puts us on the side of the thrust, three rows ahead of us, and closer to the main stage. Would these be better? Sorry to ask so many questions- I haven't gone to a concert in 10 years- and that was the Wiggles 😂

Seats 1 & 2 will go to the barrier, which means you can slide closer to the barrier. That would put only about 3 people possibly in front of you. You might even be able to get to the barrier yourself. I say "Go for it!"

Last night was my third and last concert. I was toying with the idea of going to Philly but started coming down with a cold yesterday and now I am in full blown "sick" state, so the nature has decided for me Anyway, I can't complain - all three were AMAZING! I also think it is hard to top the energy of last night at Barclays - both from the stage and from the audience whose Participation was massive! I had a seat in what turned out to be not the best for the sound quality but a very interesting location for me: level 1 row 9 at the level of the side guitar tip on Brian's side. I could see lots of "behind the scenes" action and little details I was unaware of. I could finally see Roger clearly and not as some shape obscured by bright lights, his interaction with Adam and Brian (and his tech). I was totally impressed by Roger's energy! He RAN up the quite a steep ramp leading to his kit! every time! like a little kid! almost skipping! I also discovered that he puts on the regal final bows coat right there on stage behind Brian's amps. I think it was his drum tech helping him with the coat. It turned out Brian has a safety belt on when up on the platform during his solo. I had thought he was just leaning on the stand behind him. Once the platform comes down two stage hands release the belt and I saw one giving Brian two taps on the back to signal "clear", Brian started moving as soon as he got the signal. I also noticed more sparkles: on Dr. Bri's silver cape! perhaps they were there all along but now I could see them clearly! Communication between Adam and the techs at the control center is constant. Not only when Adam talks to them from the mic but often he just glances there and they make some hand signals to him. The audience was wild! Mad participation from the whole arena, dancing, clapping, singing, light waving, cheering and what not. Very different "look" from the NJ crowd, I guess more "city" than "country"... Adam singing - sublime! and Dr. Bri's sound is UNBELIEVABLE! I even thought the solo was too short! I wish he would do a full instrumental concert.... The few little mistakes were cute - a couple by Bri and the odd problem at the beginning of Bo Rap between Adam and Spike...May be those will help the next NYT reviewer to see the "realness" of the performance ( I am really curious what NYT will come up with this time!) I overheard several "the best concert ever" comments on the way out of the arena and on the subway train home. We are so lucky to be taking part in this unreal real life of one Mr. Lambert!

Love this!! Well said!! Final thoughts and grade: Queen + Adam Lambert was one of the most epic concerts I have ever seen! Both Brian May and Roger Taylor are still at the top of their game, while Adam Lambert continues to carve out a place at the upper part of his generation’s best vocalists. If you have a chance to see this outstanding tour while it is still in North America or overseas in Europe, make sure you check out this astonishing show! A+
jakes-take.com/2017/07/queen-adam-lambert-wow-barclays-center/Very, very nice review! Brian, Roger and Adam are giving it their all night after night. They are bringing this great Queen music to life and a new generation and old one are enjoying it. Adam is putting on an extraordinary performance vocally, and with a sexy showmanship style and fans are loving him. That is what it is all about. QAL rock.

cherlyn, cuckoo4adam, jicama, jogrins, momtomany, tuscany and wordsdoctorate!
Watched Mardi Blitz scope last night and it was awesome. It's hard to tell from the close up vids (which I love ) just how fabulous the staging is...but WOW!! What a show! I've been trying not to get too excited about my one show in Nashville, but I'm not succeeding. I may even bedazzle my shirt. LOL.
Betty, the cakes look so delicious I may have to get one today.

Sorry to ask so many questions- I haven't gone to a concert in 10 years- and that was the Wiggles 😂 Currently.....Sec 1 (Adam's side...it's usually Sec 3 or C, but not here) Row O seats 4 and 5 are the best I see. Do you need two tickets? I think I'd prefer these...a little closer and maybe fewer heads. They may put out front row Sec 2s last minute like they did for me in Omaha...but you never know. These prices are so good....comparatively to the original prices we paid....that you might could upgrade to front row Sec 2 last minute and not be out but $175 or less should that happen. In Omaha I had a Sec 1 Row 10 ..three seats off the thrust that I paid $137.50 for, and was happy with it... so I splurged another $137.50 for front row center at the thrust at 3PM on concert day. So happy I did (Thank you nica and sandysva)....so close to the few songs on the BStage and the handshake in Gaga. That wasn't too big of a $ hit....especially since I had paid for Goldens and Silvers initially for some shows.....water under the bridge. I just checked Stubhub for DC and don't see anything good or as low as $175. ETA: I see Pattihum agrees. I'd call TM and see about swapping out. The interactive map is still all screwy so you shouldn't have any problem swapping I wouldn't think.
