I have to say that I'm getting fed up at ppl judging Adam's look. He's a grown ass man and does what ever he likes with his hair, clothes, beard etc. I get it that sometimes fans do disagree w him on what looks great, but why tweet about it or what's even worst, comment about it on his ig. Let the man live and we should be supporting him. At least if you don't have nice things to say, keep it quiet. P.S. Sorry, I Had to let it all out. I haven't seen that kind of commenting here, just in Twitter and on his ig. ❤️ What's going on? I didn't see any negative comments last night, and instead more high flying complimentary remarks. But I think I read more comments on his IG post.

I've got all the Youtubes in tabs to watch. Just watched the Adam'sKitty one...it was first in my queue....and got so tickled at the keyboard/musical director dude. He's hilarious in parts. At the very end it looked like all the musicians were happy as Adam left the stage. It always amazes me how professional Adam is with his sound and how adaptable he is to any situation....such a pro. I didn't recognize the intro to What's Up and was going crazy until Adam sang the first notes. I loved his Upright Cabaret version, but now he's added maturity and grit...a rock edge to it. Now onto Rema's and Patti's! Adam looked stunning throughout and was brilliant, especially during 'What's going on'. Comparing that to the 10 years earlier version really shows the maturity in singing, in interpreting, in phrasing, it is amazing, and yes, I agree, they lyrics seem so timely. I had never paid attention to the lyrics before, but then Adam also sings them such that you can take the lyrical content of the song away, because you can actually understand what he sings. And with a rangy song like this, where a lot of lyrics have to be produced after jumping high up, there are only very few in the world that can deliver such lyrics so clearly. I need Cassie's help on that question, but is he using falsetto rather than head voice on the high passages? Seems like it to me, and would make sense because a) he has to jump up into them throughout the song and b) they get you this somewhat angsty and unsettled feeling, which fits the content of the song. But I'm not sure, so I'm asking. Anyhow, be this as it may, I love this more mature rendition, and I always loved the former one too. But certainly, this one has now taken over for me. Someone mentioned that the musicians seemed happy at the end when Adam had left. They should be happy, they did a good job, but I am sure it is also a bit of a sigh of relief mixed in, because being a musician supporting Adam is always a bit of a wild ride too. I think that Adam challenges musicians quite a bit with all his improvisations, and given that he is not an instrumentalist, I find him just expecting that they can follow with their instruments all that he vocally does and support it on the spur of the moment. He is taking it easy improvising as he feels like, but I bet the musicians behind him sweat a bit about what they don't know is coming one measure out. In the end, they all need to stay together. No musician wants a messed up version of STL running wild on the internet. And so playing for Adam is both rewarding, as it is interesting and probably fun during practice time, and a great occasion with visibility and all, but I bet, that come performance time, those musicians beg that Adam does not through them too fast a curve ball, one that would make the musicians get away from each other, either rhythmically or in their harmonies. You can see that especially in this STL performance. The musical director a tad nervously swinging into action, when the improv section starts, and him trying to hold it together. Meanwhile, Adam in front does his thing and is totally relaxed, not even paying attention to the gesticulations going on behind him. But in the end, with his suave kind of style he gives everyone in the audience a good time, because his relaxed and happy emotions transfer to the audience through his performance. The work done behind him should not be underestimated. They did a good job, and handled it well, because Adam did indeed throw one or two curve balls and they had to get through it. The stress showed. Of course not on Adam. He's all, I've got this, and indeed he does. Thank you to all, who brought us videos. They are fun to watch.

I am a straight male. Not sure why I Feel the need to predicate that every time lol. But my point is I love that look. Love the Scruffy Beard. The overall look very rock star, he is looking very masculine looking. Very mainstream. That is the Adam I loved on Idol. The Chic and Stylistic outfits. His beard? I hope he keeps it, suits him. Not sure who's complaining about his look. But the mans had thousands of outfits, and looks LOL. I am sure next week he well have a new one. He is a fashion icon after all. I loved What up! That was one hell of a performance. I mean you expect it from Lambert. I mean he is Queens frontman duh lol. But this is the music I love to see Adam do. The Pop/Rock stuff really suits him. Especially a song where he is basically at the top of his register through out most of the song. Then when he drops into his lower register it sounds so cool. Good to hear him perform live again. Looking forward to more of it with Queen when I see him live next Feb. And then the promotion prob post March with his fourth studio album. I love your post. And I completely agree with the highlighted parts. About predictions for his solo career, I have no clue but hopes. They might add Asia after Oceania and Adam might need a bit of a break.

Maybe I overreacted, because it felt so bad and seems to happen every time he changes his hair etc. Mostly fans seem to love his appearance now, so do I. ❤️ I might just be over sensitive today. ☺️

I 100% knew he knew would do WWFM, he pretty much has to. It's "his" signature song. And let's face it, most non stans still know him best from Idol and immediate post Idol. "What's Up" was a very appropriate and timely choice. Plus, doing covers often gets him a press cycle! #AdamSmart! Somebody To Love got a fabulous reaction at both PAF and this event. People love the song & it really showcases his voice! I loved his setlist! And he looked so damn HOT!! That fluffy hair with the beard is KILLER!! DED! Thanks for your feedback, @pattihum, and for sharing with us. I agree, he absolutely SLAYED(!) with his looks, the song choices, and the way he performed. I needed it haha, and I was only watching the periscope.

I just arrived. Who is talking about how Adam looked? My heart started thumping the minute I looked into his face. Adam looked beautiful, sexy, funny, sweet and his scruffy hair was adorable and his beard made him look like a movie star. I loved what he was wearing. What a gorgeous human being this man is. He just made my day. All I want to do is hug the man just once in my life. Adam is so incredibly beautiful. I can't even name anyone better looking, sounding, or acting. I can't believe I still feel like this after all these years. I must see him in concert one more time before I leave this earth. I can't wait for his new music and new concert to hear his new music. I know I am gushing but he makes me gush. I feel ya. Same here.

Too bad he wasn't seated at your table....lol. Glad you got to mix with a couple of celebrities anyway. Maybe that was why he had a big wrinkle on the front of his coat bottom....sat on it too long....lol. Bless his heart and yours too having to sit thru hours of a dinner and awards. It's a marathon. Looking forward to hearing your recorded audio! Not a marathon at all. Very well run & very entertaining. Michelle Collins was hysterical. The speakers and award recipients were fabulous! And dinner was really really good. Besides Naya and Shankman we also had 2 scholarship kids at our table! The best of the best of our youth! Both outstanding! Adam Shankman was at your table?! I love him. Did you talk to him? Or Naya?

@pattihum thanks for being our man on the ground. Tough job but somebody's got..... My ipad is choosing what I see - did you say who Adam was sitting with at dinner? Were they just randomly lucky peeps or were they celebs/friends of his? If random, how did they all react? Could you see the table? i've tried hard to find something I didn't like but I LOVED every tiny little bit. Best look for him EVER and I loved his chilled, happy confidence and realness. He is so warm and relatable like this....and his voice gets more beautiful every time!. i'm going to claim a bit of 'What's going On?'. Less than a couple of weeks ago here, when discussing his voice maturing, I said that I couldn't listen to those Upright Cabaret songs because his voice struck me as too sharp ...made me a little uncomfortable. I said how much I'd love to hear him singing any of them now, with his more mature, richer voice..... .....so I think he read that and obliged. And wow! Please don't anyone disillusion me....thanks.....
