OK - once again I have just lost an entire day #berting. Not complaining - love, love, love our boy, but shit I so need to do RL stuff. It's not FAIR!!!!  I LOVE #berting! I now need dinner, sleep & will have to (unwillingly *pouts*) go back into lurkdom for a while. *sulks* *EEP* I've just spent an entire week battling a neighbour adjacent to our group landslip problem (and only feet away from my already damaged house), trying to stop his bulldozers from digging into a live landslip affecting our land (and my house in particular - I am the closest and my house didn't stop shaking for days). He wants to build three houses and double the size of his garage/carport. He has been granted SOME consents by Council (who up until a few days ago were unaware of our landslip problem), but I managed to get his final building consent for his houses stopped (literally) within minutes of them being made available for pickup. However, he has ignored the Council 'HOLD' sticker and continued work over the last two days #sofreakingfrustrated. I've been laughed at by him, his family and even the bulldozer driver at the time. I called the Council for clarification a few days ago on a totally separate tree issue and he retaliated later in the day with his chainsaw. A mighty forty years in the growing English Oak that I have woken up to for twenty years - and it took less than 10 minutes to destroy. #nastybastard About an hour ago I had a knock on the door and it was my local City Councillor who I contacted a couple of weeks ago and she decided this evening to call in personally for a quick chat \o/. She took notes and is very supportive of our cause *fingers crossed* Truly, truly beside myself right now - BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! Adam and his fandom and their humour and their communal love helps so freaking much. TY  (lots more detail to this story - but just too damn tired to explain right now) Besides - it's totally ALL about our beautiful boy/man, his hair, his clothes, his eyes and ODG *melts* his chest hair  . |
