Adam solo is not going to be in arenas -- no doubt. But major label or indie -- Queen or Adam -- promoters fund concert tours. Labels don't really pay for tours -- they sometimes budget some promo funds for tours, they more often front money from future royalties, but only based on royalty trends -- that means they let the artist pay for the tour with expect royalties. Artists and/or concert promoters pay for tours. And recorded music royalties are not what they used to be. So are you saying Adam would have to pay for any solo tour out of his pocket? No and yes, he needs to get promoters and/or have a royalty stream and/or get sponsors to fund it. Being a touring artist is like having your own business. There are lot of ways to fund tours. In the past, Adam has used multiple sources to fund tours -- including bootstrapping the tour by using revenue from the early shows to fund later shows. That way he could retain more of the profits. Adam is a good business person and he has excellent financial managers and lawyers. Mostly, he needs a couple new hit singles to do a solo tour.

I never said Adam should be play arenas. He won't anyway. That is why Queen and Adam are perfect for each other. Queen gives Adam that platform. And Adam is an incredible vechile for the remaining members. I just recall reading or hearing Adam funded some of his solo tour. Around the time he was named highest earning idol making 10 million in 2015 or 2016, when ever it was. Q3 answered one of my comments and I asked her a question about it. I was hoping she would shed some light on it as she knows a lot about how US labels work. Nobody was disputing that Adam was perfect with Queen? But never mind. Sorry I asked. I'm not sorry you asked. It is a really good question. It is not so certain that Adam can put together a solo tour. I am thankful for every QAL show he does. So far, Adam has figured out a way to put together a tour after all his albums -- like string together the holiday radio concerts. I suspect he will do it again. ETA: He funded part of his first solo tour -- but he took nothing "out of his pocket." He bootstrapped the tour. Many artists do this. You set aside funds from the early concert to fund later concerts. That way the artist "owns" the tour.

Here is a blog post from an indie band from 2014 telling in detail how they planned and executed a tour. It's indie, thus a much smaller operation than Adam would have. I think some Atop peeps would find it interesting though. www.digitalmusicnews.com/2014/11/25/band-just-finished-28-day-tour-made-much/This band wound up losing a little money. My son's band (indie) has not lost money touring, but a lot of the process is like what this band did. peace&love

I‘m not completely sure, but didn‘t Adam have the same promoter for TOH-Tour than with Queen ? I think that was at least in Australia and Europe the case. This way finding a promoter shouldn’t be a problem. Adam is not a newby anymore. They know, if it will work or not. As long as the album isn’t a complete flop, I don‘t see any problems.
I mean, he‘s more or less constantly touring the world with Queen in a more than successful way. That should give him some credit for solo-tours!

lurleene. Not sure why your being sensitive. I never said Adam and Queen are perfect for each other as anything towards you. I was just saying why Adam an do arenas with Queen. And not as a solo.

♥ Adam Lambert is ♔ foxvegas WHY RT ADAM'S TWEETS? 1. Getting his content “ReTweeted” can drive significant quality traffic to his site, which can boost his subscriber numbers. 2. The likelihood of a tweet being ReTweeted increases dramatically EACH TIME it is ReTweeted by others. ♥ Adam Lambert is ♔ foxvegas PLEASE RT 🙏🏼 WHY SHOULD WE RT ADAM'S TWEETS? "People who post and repost effectively can build a following of millions of people." "Spreads the word among Twitter followers...a way of amplifying the signal so that more people hear the original message." I have never understood why some people would "like" tweets but don't "RT", especially if those re-tweets would help promote an artist.

Oh, do you plan to come to Hamburg? Hi Betty! Oh I would SO love to go to Hamburg or Berlin QAL show. Alas I can't. All the shows in Germany and Italy are during the school year. And at a school day. There is no chance for me to go. *sigh* I asked about the tickets for my friend - she's going, wanted the e-tickets and couldn't find the option. Anyway I'm glad for you going to Hamburg and Cologne Betty. Have a great time! Aww, thank you, dear shimoli! I'm so sorry that you can't come to Germany! I keep my fingers crossed that there will be some more concert-dates announced and that one of those dates will work out for you!
