Just my speculation: Maybe Adam and his management and label are waiting for the Playmobil movie to release the theme song? The producer of the film seems to have high hopes for the film and its music. But the release date was apparently unclear for some time. If the theme song is sung by Adam and Trainor, then the song can easily be the spark, that helps Adam’s upcoming music to be a real success.

Is it just speculation or wishful thinking that Adam and Meghan have a duet or the theme song for the whole movie? Like in fairy god mother and evil Emperor duet? lol Sounds to me in Lino's response to a question if Adam had recorded His Song....Lino said yes and it was freaking amazing. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for him to have a duet or the theme song, etc. but really all we know about is that one song right now. But we do know that one song was amazing and rocked according to Lino.
So we now know that Adam won't be doing a medley with Hound Dog in it. Seems very likely he'll do Heartbreak Hotel. We'll know tonite. Did anybody else think the staging of the audience looked kinda flimsy...a couple rows of folding chairs, etc. I know the original had the red Elvis sign and lots of girls sitting on and close around the stage. Maybe with lighting and editing etc. it'll all come together.
