IMHO,Some of Adam's fans will never be happy with what he does.. wanted him on TV ..now on TV.. wanted him in a movie ,He's in a movie, want him LIVE and touring .. He's live and touring with Queen. When he has put out new music ,It seems some fans were critical of some of the songs he chose. WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM HIM.. He's not on earth to make his fans feel fulfilled.. only each of us can fulfill our own dreams. ADAM is fulfilling his dreams ,I am happy for him... PREACH 🤩 👌 I feel like it is all out of love for Adams talent and who he is as a person though so I hope everyone is happy for any success he has. I get that ,but to be disappointed because he hasn't reached the pinnacle of success WE WANT for him?

PREACH 🤩 👌 I feel like it is all out of love for Adams talent and who he is as a person though so I hope everyone is happy for any success he has. I get that ,but to be disappointed because he hasn't reached the pinacle of success we want for him? I agree that there are fans that make it too much about how they want the artists career to go to make them satisfied and it is not about us ultimately. It is about Adam fulfilling his artistic desires and having a career he is happy with. As with any artist I am a fan of I am just happy to be along for the ride and enjoy any project he is able to share with us. I think sometimes fans have a sense of ownership over artists that is false. Adam himself has said he can’t please everybody so he just has to do what is right for him. No disrespect to anyone else that is just my thoughts on fans in general not just here. So in short I agree some people will never be happy but thats on them. My comment before was based on comments Adam has made that he believes most fans say and do things out of love. I am just excited by all the stuff he has coming down the line!!! No offense intended to anyone just my opinion.

Two things: First, Adam has been in the public eye for almost ten years since Idol. That's a pretty good run, in and of itself. I'm sure lots of singers have a couple of strong years and then fade off. Before Queen, he had successful solo tours, worldwide. Not huge arenas, but decent sized venues. Without Queen, he may have maintained some good momentum and would have been able to focus totally on his own music with continued success. We'll never know where he'd be now with that scenario. We DO know that he plans to put out his own music and perform it.
Also, I said this before, but once again, I think that without his Queen cred, he may not have been offered the projects he has right now: XF, Wicked thing, Elvis thing, Playmobil, AFTRA/SAG, etc. QAL has raised his profile big-time.
There are plenty of singers who would kill to be in his position.

Some nice convo I had with Avari. Avari @avarionline TFW you love chocolate & you love chips & you just had chips & have been promised chocolate, so you’re craving chocolate & you find out there won’t be any chocolate but there will be chips again & you’re sad about the chocolate right now even tho you still love chips Simone skaschepThat's a great way of expressing some feels around today! Some only love the chocolate though and are tired of the chips. They also want to trow away the chips because of that. Even though both are offered with the same love. Simone skaschepI do love both by the way! Avari @avarionline Put it this way, my craving for chips is currently sated...but I would never throw any chips away or get mad at the people who gave me the chips and I know my craving for chips will come back soon 😁 Avari @avarionline And I know there will be chocolate someday!!! 😁 Simone skaschepMy craving for chocolate is also much more present than my craving for chips. I must admit that. But yes! Chocolate is on the way and we'll manage with the chips as well if we need to 😉 Simone skaschepIn the meantime we are getting all kinds of little candy bits thrown our way to keep the biggest craving away and even though it would not satisfy our craving for chocolate it will keep us occupied until the chocolate is ready.

To think things might have worked out differently is not an assumption, it is a reality. We (none of us) just don’t know what that difference might have been. It is true that life gives no guarantees; it is also true that time spent on one project takes time from another, every decision and choice has tradeoff - pro and con. The Paul Rogers touring is a totally different can of worms than Adam. Paul had an extensive music catalogue and his own high level of success prior to pairing up so less career risk there plus they toured some with joint music. Different does not mean better. But if we are talking reality, the reality is after Trespassing he had no label. Without QAL exposure, WB might not have signed him at all. But we will never know that either. I agree with what you said but Adam and Warner said they reached out to him the day after he announced his split from RCA. May have taken a minute to get everything signed and in place but was not Queen related. Adam has said he was only nervous for one day before he heard from Warner.

Also this article popped into my mind a couple of times today. In a way Queen saved Adam and Adam 'saved' Queen. They both needed eachother at that moment in time. www.theguardian.com/music/2018/jun/29/adam-lambert-now-theres-an-audience-for-me-being-exactly-who-i-amAdam Lambert: 'Now there’s an audience for me being exactly who I am' The fuss over his sexuality in 2009 highlights how attitudes have moved on in a decade. Ahead of a European tour with Queen, the singer looks back on prejudice and how he helped change pop ... The constant suggestion that Lambert was “too much” eventually got to him, and led to a pivot in his career. His second album, 2012’s Trespassing – which gave him the curious honour of being the first openly gay artist to reach No 1 on the Billboard album chart – was markedly more sombre, led by the dreary ballad Better Than I Know Myself. His preferred single choice, Cuckoo – a lithe electro-glam stomper – was dismissed by his now former label as “too flamboyant”. Later that year, having performed with Queen at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Lambert joined the band for a six-date tour. “I needed an outlet for me that wasn’t judging. I needed to be in a safe space that didn’t say to me: ‘Don’t do that, people won’t like that.’ Now there’s an audience for me being exactly who I am. There’s permission given.” His Queen sojourn was not meant to last this long (“It’s the gift that keeps on giving,” he laughs) and he says the early shows were “a mindfuck”. “I’ve figured out how to make those songs work for me. I’m not playing a part, I’m interpreting them from my viewpoint and a lot of what Freddie was exploring is stuff I’m exploring.” Does he worry it has sidelined his own career – going back to covering other people’s songs for a living? “No,” he says, slightly agitated. “No. I think I’ve managed to balance it. It’s two different worlds and two different ideas, but right now, I’m trying to get them to coexist.” Understandably, Lambert thinks about Freddie Mercury a lot, discussing with Queen bandmates Roger Taylor and Brian May what he’d have made of a new pop movement that’s seen a raft of queer artists break into the mainstream. “Roger was like: ‘I think he would be really open and upfront about it, because that’s what he was like to all of us.’ [His sexuality] was just taboo in the media. But he was very matter of fact once he’d come to terms with it. And from what I have ascertained, he was fully bisexual. He was dabbling everywhere. I think he was ahead of his time.” Also listen to what he has to say about how Queen influenced his 3rd album:
