I am so thrilled for the success that Adam is realizing. Happy that he is being given so many opportunities to share his gift with the world. He has worked so hard and he seems to finally be getting recognition from the industry. He has always voiced the desire to have a diversified career and his tours with QAL have definitely put him on the map. He has shown himself to be a professional in every respect. "A bird in the hand" as far as I'm concerned re QAL. It's a money maker and provides him the financial security to pursue whatever other interests present themselves. Good on ya, Lambert! All True! Other topic: Found on QOL: YT discussion on the possible effects of Brian Singer situation, Adam mention at about 1:15 youtu.be/v-WbbwgQ_KA

]I'm with you Talon!!!! Ride the wave as long as it lasts. It's been good for both Adam and Queen. For me it allowed me to see my favorite band and my newest obsession . I was a huge fan of Queen back in the seventies. My husband adored the band, he was a musician and knew something amazing when he heard it! I remember when he was on tour and we would be travelling from gig to gig we would put in the 8 track of Queen, yes 8 track or tape and sing at the top of our lungs. Anyway, don't know how much longer it will go on so enjoy it while we have it. I know once it's over people will miss it! Ahh back in the day - I admit I was a the tail end of 8 tracks...I did a little vinyl but I admit to being mostly cassettes, at least til CD came along

I just had a scary thought: what if they don’t find a US distributor for Playmobil? Will peeps have to travel to EU to see it? THAT won’t happen. If it actually was going to happen, the voices of the original version wouldn’t be heard by half as many people. Most countries in Europe do their own synchronization in their own language. I‘m still not sure, if I‘ll get the possibility to watch the film in a cinema. We have a cinema in Berlin, that only shows original versions. Since kids over here are usually not able to understand English, children’s films are much less shown. Hopefully this film will be „big“ enough...

If BH were to get an Oscar nom and Brian and Roger were asked to perform on the Oscars fronted by Rami Malek, I think I would crawl in a hole. Rami doesn't even do all the "Freddie singing" in the movie. As the radio guy said in the video, "Adam Lambert wouldn't like it." Neither would I. But an Oscar nom for BH is just a supposition. I want the movie to do well. But if Queen performed on the Oscars, I want it to be with ADAM. Period.

I think "giant" tour may be an exaggeration regarding QAL. I overheard some tidbits, and around May is the timing I heard, no other months mentioned. At least for US. I can see them wanting to tour while they still have the energy and also with perhaps renewed interest in the band due to the movie, which is getting worldwide release. And seems like Adam has the music down now, and can make it his own, so why shouldn't he? Especially if he's (almost) done with his music and just waiting around for the powers that be.

Lots of good comments here about Adam's solo career and the proposed QAL tour next year. I know it's been said many times, but Adam has a real plum job with Queen. And it will not last all that much longer. He has to make each tour count. QAL has given him so much cred. He might not have even been considered for the Wicked Halloween special or the Elvis special or the Playmobil movie if he didn't have the higher visibility and media exposure from QAL. We are hungry for new music, of course. It will come. And if his next album does well and allows him to tour on it, he will find a way to do it. Brian and Roger respect that fact.
And it is logical for QAL to tour next year on the heels of the BR movie which I predict will do very well. I can see how we Adam fans feel some "QAL fatigue." We watch almost every song of every concert date, multiple times. But most concert goers do not do that. Seeing QAL is far more special for them. QAL may plan to hit some new venues that they have missed in the past.
We don't know the behind the scenes issues that Adam may be dealing with regarding A4. I'm sure he wants to get new music out there and tour with it. Career-wise, he will spend many more years as a solo artist than he will with Queen. His solo career will take its own course. We will love and support him always, regardless of the size of his concert venues. But he has captured a major career coup with Queen, and every tour counts, bigtime.

Which Queen song would he even be able to sing in a way, that it sounds Oscar-worthy? Isn’t it only the „main“ song, that is performed? Would that be BoRhap? Then I wish Rami good luck... 😁 No, seriously. They would rather use Marc Martel... 🙄 In the film it’s not really Rami‘s singing, it’s mostly Marc Martel ( and when the recordings are good enough, Freddie himself or a mixture of both). I can only see Rami doing only little intros and „behind-the-scenes- lalala“.

Just a thought: If they are ready to announce the next QAL tour, then they’ll use the Oscar opportunity as a plug, which would mean real QAL...with Adam in all his glory

And I also don’t expect, that they will tell the casual viewers and fans, who is really singing. It’s officially Freddie. And he isn’t available for a live performance. I just think, that Rami is even less likely than Marc. Don’t forget: Brian and Roger only perform live.
