I think "giant" tour may be an exaggeration regarding QAL. I overheard some tidbits, and around May is the timing I heard, no other months mentioned. At least for US. I can see them wanting to tour while they still have the energy and also with perhaps renewed interest in the band due to the movie, which is getting worldwide release. And seems like Adam has the music down now, and can make it his own, so why shouldn't he? Especially if he's (almost) done with his music and just waiting around for the powers that be. I don't think it will turn out to be an exaggeration. If the movie goes big, the demand for the real thing while it is still available could be huge. And we know QAL tours turn into multi-legged affairs with some rest in between. I am hoping for shows in parts of the US that have never had a QAL performance - Florida, New Orleans, Atlanta etc.

I agree! QAL has been very good for all of them. Adam is smart enough to decide what is the best for him to do. I expect that Adam has agreed to go on tour again already or Brian wouldn't have mentioned it. Put me down as one who is good with another QAL tour. It is part of Adam's career. Brian and Roger need him to do this and he needs them for this part of his career. Adam is also a success in his own right as a solo artist. He has gold/platinum album and singles in multiple counties. Two #3 and one #1 album on the Billboard 200. A Grammy nomination and award wins in multiple countries. A lot of artists can't claim that. He has had three solo world tours. Not on the level of QAL for sure but from Forbes two of them made him 6M and 5M after expenses and before taxes. We never got the amount for the third one but chances are it was in the same range. He gets tv spots, movie, endorsement deals, judging opportunities and other great opportunities all on his own name and unrelated to Queen. He is not one of the biggest solo artists out there but he is a successful one. Would love to see this next album bring him greater success as a solo artist but we shall see. He will release his solo album when it is ready and convenient to him. My opinion is that QAL will not change his solo schedule. There may be other things that determine it but I doubt Adam is putting QAL before his solo career. Fitting QAL in is a good thing just like getting other acting gigs or opportunities are a good thing. Adam was making the Forbes list of highest earning Idols before joining Queen and if they were still doing the list, he would continue to be on it. I don't think there needs to be an either or. They are both important to him and he has made a name for himself with both. Period. See no need to try to diminish any part of his career (of course the negative nellies will try as they never give up) or to look for a reason to cut any part out. He has given Queen new life on the world stage and Brian and Roger and fans are grateful to him. I want to enjoy it all. QAL and Solo as it is all part of Adam's career. Everyone has what they like most and i'm glad we can all share our thoughts even if we don't always agree. This is very well said and my last word on the subject is this.
I love QAL as much as anything else Adam does and as long as we end up with videos like this (THANK YOU TALC VIDS!!!) Then I am perfectly fine with several more QAL tours......yes please)

I'm keeping May as free as I can.....

Lots of good comments here about Adam's solo career and the proposed QAL tour next year. I know it's been said many times, but Adam has a real plum job with Queen. And it will not last all that much longer. He has to make each tour count. QAL has given him so much cred. He might not have even been considered for the Wicked Halloween special or the Elvis special or the Playmobil movie if he didn't have the higher visibility and media exposure from QAL. We are hungry for new music, of course. It will come. And if his next album does well and allows him to tour on it, he will find a way to do it. Brian and Roger respect that fact. And it is logical for QAL to tour next year on the heels of the BR movie which I predict will do very well. I can see how we Adam fans feel some "QAL fatigue." We watch almost every song of every concert date, multiple times. But most concert goers do not do that. Seeing QAL is far more special for them. QAL may plan to hit some new venues that they have missed in the past. We don't know the behind the scenes issues that Adam may be dealing with regarding A4. I'm sure he wants to get new music out there and tour with it. Career-wise, he will spend many more years as a solo artist than he will with Queen. His solo career will take its own course. We will love and support him always, regardless of the size of his concert venues. But he has captured a major career coup with Queen, and every tour counts, bigtime. Hopefully, if this new tour is true Queen has given Adam a permanent percentage stake in Queen current and future proceeds. His solo career will indeed take its own course, that course however; has been impeded by, and is forever tied up by and with Queen. He has earned and deserves more than just a temporary paycheck for doing this. jmo

I'll throw in a funny idea, what if by *giant tour* its not the number of dates but the venue sizes? IF BoRap will elevate Queen to more popularity than it is nowadays -arenas won't do anymore for QAL. Last time in 2014-2015 they sold out the tours so fast. By the time they did BBC NY there weren't tix left to buy for a lot of people who saw Queen with Adam on TV for the first time. Might be they can do stadiums -to fit the demand. That will require change of the show again, might be the "Frank is retiring" too cause it will not work in stadiums. Just a thought. YAY! for the newly mentioned SAG-AFTRA benefit appearance. We'll wait and see. Adam might not get to stay in that new house so long next year. He will be really really REALLY busy

The truth is - as an outsider here - sometimes it's good to hear from that perspective. I think Adam is going to ride the QAL train for as long as he can because it gives him the biggest amount of success both financially and visibly out of anything he does. You may not want to hear it but outside the Adam fanatics - he doesn't have a *ton* of solo success. He has enough of a fanbase to make a soundbyte when a new album comes out. It is enough to sell the first week, but there is little long lasting success. You can be angry with me for saying that if you'd like, but it is the truth. IT's sometimes hard to understand when you are so insular. I am completely the same way. I don't get when people DON'T know about something Queen related because I'm all in so much that it's just a well known thing. Like for example when the News of the World Boxset came out, I talked to a friend of mine who is a rock fan (more Beatles and beach Boys, etc.) who collects vinyl, etc. and he had NOT idea that it was coming out. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar. I think he would tour if he could, but he doesn't have the backing for the kind of tour he'd want to do. So while I understand wating new music. I've wanted new Queen music since 2008 and The Cosmos Rocks and have had to settle for an RT album (which I would gladly settle for again Roger if you're listening) and some songs Brian wrote for Kerry (precious few). But it's not successful for them while the tour is. The tour depends on casual fans and Adam fans as much as it does Queen fans so I've also given up on getting much in the way of exciting setlists. It's going to be them strapping on the hits in a slightly different order. I'm far more excited about the Bo Rhap soundtrack with one live track freshened up and a few retakes of old songs. I wish they had done one new song or something but I'll take the drips and drabs over nothing. If QAL comes to the US, I'll still be there no doubt but it's not as exciting the 3rd or 4th time around especially given the deep catalogue they could be tapping...OR the fact that by now they could be trying new material out together. . But people on both sides of the fences are going to have to see that for all intents and purposes this is what it is going to be for a little while longer (and probably for as long as they can manage.... Have I told you lately that I love you? Well, I do. Thanks for sharing the light of sanity.
