Help needed here. I have no idea how to sign up for Adam’s yearly fan club membership. The site is so confusing. Also- I signed up for the Queen Online newsletter but didn’t receive an email, just an automated welcome email. Any advice?

I thought about that too, also after the "mood" IG video with Pharaoh yesterday. He seems nostalgic and I am sure there are times when he needs to reflect on his rise to fame, his fandom, his career choices, his music, and the many "passionate" opinions about him. He may want the "Whataya Want From Me" question answered (haha... good luck!) or... he may want to communicate a message to us with the songs he posts. Or... it just "ain't that deep" but I doubt it. I was surprised that he did answer a good number of "passionate" and super opinionated comments a few days ago following his latest IG post about the Rhapsody tour, so he seems to care what people think. I agree with the above. to add, I don't think Adam wants to disappoint his loving ,loyal fans.. IMHO,he's letting us know he cares and that he still has a solo career that means a lot to him.. reminding us of the songs many of us really love.IMHO,Adam has not had an easy time with the business side of his career... who has??? BUT he loves the creative music side and would like to put out songs as singles that he wants to put out. maybe is fighting for more musical freedom. As he has said,to paraphrase ,He hates being told what to do... To add again..Of course i know nothing !! After listening to Mario interview once again Adam is taking about the tedious business side to getting out new music... I would really love to beable to tell that side off for giving Adam a hard time.. Just saying A little bit on the business side from Ariana Grande www.billboard.com/articles/events/women-in-music/8487877/ariana-grande-cover-story-billboard-women-in-music-2018 . A couple of things stood out for me. She thinks women in pop have a harder time than men - Adam was saying the opposite when he first started. Maybe in the last decade things have switched. The other was that she wrote most of one album in 2 weeks. I remember Niles telling Adam to not over think it too much. My hope with QAL of course beyond fronting the greatest band of all time in whatever size of venue that can hold them is that he can have more freedom on the business end, we'll see when the songs come out.

I was wondering the same. And I just saw, that his snippet of TFM was a repost from a fan account, that he had liked. There could be too many reasons, why Adam started and keeps posting snippets of old performances. Actually, it was that, that made me speculate (in yesterday’s thread), that Adam might already be planning a tour to promote his new album. Actually, given the many vids from the past that he posted recently, I thought for a minute that the "surprise announcement" would be an Adam NYE concert. It was wishful thinking (haha) and it was the Rhapsody tour instead. I'll gladly take that too.

I think he understands pretty well that with his solo music in 'limbo' (as far as we can tell), endlessly delayed, but QAL just going from strength to strength, some fans become hostile, and it becomes a competition, an either/or situation. They can easily be calmed and disarmed by knowing that his own music is actually coming, so he gave them that. Me personally, I feel a whole lot better now, knowing that his own music is coming in the first half of next year, before the QAL tour. I was really impressed how Adam responded to some "agitated" fans a few days ago - he kept his cool but was honest and from what I gathered he calmed them down and literally "disarmed" them. In the end, and despite my confusion with fans who like to manage his career, I think these fan interactions were good for all of us and probably for Adam too. Good for him to know that many of his fans want to hear his own music, despite his success with Queen.

Just wanted to add my waiting room ticket-buying experience. On the day of the fan pre-sale (for the summer dates in the UK) I was logged into Ticketmaster and on the QAL page ahead of time and was also asked if I wanted to join the waiting room, so I clicked for yes. Because it was my first experience of the waiting room I was a little suspicious so I opened a different browser and logged in again, without joining the waiting room this time. Instead I just kept refreshing the page until the moment it went live. I had already bought my ticket on the second browser (the one where I kept refreshing) and I was STILL in the waiting room on the first one. So if you have the opportunity to log in on more than one browser or device, it seems as though it's better to keep your options open. Great info and thanks for tip. That is good to know. I had not tried that so thank you Ann!!!
