Don't shoot me, but I almost enjoy Adam singing in these special appearances more than some of his own songs. I absolutely loved Girl Crush, One More Try, and now this, Believe. I can't wait to hear the whole song...it's just so, so gorgeous. I think maybe I'm over the whole dancey, club thing. I've always enjoyed his slower songs more, like Soaked, There I Said It, etc. He is just so dang good at interpreting emotional songs. I can't wait to hear the new music...hope it includes some of that soulful music. Yes I agree. Adams always suited a more Hot AC, vocal driven sound. Even on idol when he did a dance number If I can’t have you. He arranged it into a ballad. I think that’s Where Adam should be heading. A more soulful, authentic sound. And from what Adams being saying sounds like he’s moved on from Dance. Or even Deep House Cuts he did with GT. I still think commercially it we’ll be a still be a very mainstream driven pop album. But sounds more honest and real. It’s interesting seeing him perform with an orchestra. As he did say he intends to go back to real instruments in A4. So I wonder if this is all deliberate. In any case. Looking forward to the new year. And seeing the rollout of his solo work. Maybe see him on fallon or something. Hopefully an album. And soon some more detail around what label he’s signed on. Seeing we know he has a management. So if he’s working on a studio album. An Artist like Adam. I’m presuming he has a label. I think Adams real distinctive quality is that their is one out their currently in the music industry like him. Any label should utilise that. He’s kinda a rare commodity in popculture. He reminds me of the classic artists like Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan. Even Prince, George Michael, Michael Jackson,

Adam has done some excellent performances with other people's songs. I always think of Stay. It's one of my faves, esp. when he sang it entwined with Underneath. Like you, I love many of his songs, and ballads are really his strong suit, IMO. I hope A4 has a great combination of styles and tempos that show off his voice every single time. Some earthy soul sounds would be good, some songs with a message that is important to him. Some heartfelt tunes. I AM READY!

Anyone know why the Wells Fargo Center in Philly doesn't have a seat map up yet on Ticketmaster? I was able to find a seating chart online, but curious why they don't have a general seating chart on Ticketmaster. Not interested in floor seats because I can't stand that long due to health reasons. Some little birdie in my head seems to remember people having trouble getting seats at the Wells Fargo Center - is that true? Also going to be trying for tickets in DC, and don't know which I should try for first - any thoughts?
Ticket angst, ticket angst - how I hate it!!

Adam may not be able to compete with those that have the million people fan bases, but BR is able to compete in the Film category at the moment. Presently it's in first place, but only by one percent. A bit torn, because Love Simon, that is hot on BR's heels, is also good, and means a lot to one of my kids. So, there is that, but anyhow, if you feel like playing, here is the link one more time: celebmix.com/awards2018/And now I better go and check my Ticketmaster login. Btw, the Washington DC concert seating chart is still a generic one, not one specific to QAL tour. At least the link shown on the last page is not. Thanks to all the people sharing their experience with the waiting room, that is really helpful to know.
ETA: animaldoc Last year, Wells Fargo center was not even sold out, I presume this will be different this time, not only because of the BR movie, but also because there are no other concerts in New Jersey, this time.
Last time, I went for tickets in Washington DC first, because I thought that this venue would have higher demand, which, as a matter of fact, it did. That venue did sell out, especially because that year all the people from the South Eastern US had no other venue to go to, and Washington was the "closest" to them. This time, they have other options. So, I expect the demand for Washington and Philly to be about the same. I will buy Washington first, as that concert is more important to me personally. Good luck!

While there is a link to Wells Fargo Center in Ticketmaster, the tickets are not actually sold through Ticketmaster. Tickets are sold through AXS or EventTime or some other 3rd party vendor. (These are primary market tickets and not secondary resellers.) Same is true for tickets to Houston and a couple of others.

I can't wait to hear the new music...hope it includes some of that soulful music. Probably because most everyone does and can do the dancey, club thing. It is good but doesn't feel so special and extraordinary. But everyone or most cannot do what Adam does when he goes deep. He is just on another level. And people really react to it by going nuts. And when he rocks, many can't do that either. I find it hard to believe that no label has taken full advantage of his amazing gift. I mean, how often do they come across an Adam Lambert? I sound like a broken record, but when Adam sings and connects to the lyrics of a song THAT is where I am taken to places, and it seems that more casual followers and critics feel similarly, even with the Queen catalogue. Adam can wiggle and put on a show but his very special gift for me is singing, and may be he is just realizing that now as he is maturing and done with the club kid stuff. I remember when "Time For Miracles" came out - Brian May had already hinted at a killer song by Adam (quote: "I am not easily moved to jelly but...") and how it grabbed me immediately when I listened to it for the first time. I kept playing it over and over, however Adam almost dismissed the song when asked if it would make it on his album. I know TFM was not meant to be a single but also Adam was in a different zone back then and he wanted to push buttons. Then FYE came out ... needless to say that I was in complete shock when I heard it on the radio for the first time. What a contrast it was. Not sure if the label alone is to blame. Almost a decade later Adam has learned a lot by evolving as an artist and by working with Queen. He has created some really good songs but many of those weren't singles. I think he will get it right this time around. "Don't shoot me, but I almost enjoy Adam singing in these special appearances more than some of his own songs." svca, I am not shooting you either for saying that. I feel the same - Girl Crush, One More Time, and Believe were UNBELIEVABLE. And that's just to name a few of those timeless classics. I also really like "Save Me" and "Love Kills".

The detailed seating charts I gave links for on the previous page will always only be generic and not specific to QAL. They are not from Ticketmaster. They are good for seeing how rows and seats numbers are ordered in the stands. Likely not very useful for floor seating around the catwalk and thrust. For that, check Ticketmaster when pick seat from map becomes available.

Ah, thanks DancyGeorgia for that explanation regarding the maps, that makes sense. Also, the AXS stuff for Wells Fargo center is important, because that means that exchanges and returns and resales are handled by those AXS rules, rather than what Ticketmaster would do, and I recall that there were some issues with resale, even though I have forgotten the details of what was going on.

This is going to be a dumb question, but is there a button for "pre-waiting room" or is it automatically the page you are on when you are waiting for the tickets to load? I have not personally dealt with "the waiting room" yet, but Prism told me that when going to ticketmaster a little early for a presale for an event, about 15 minutes before the presale was to start, something appeared that asked her if she wanted to enter the waiting room. She said yes.
From that point on ticketmaster gave updates such as "there are 2,000 people ahead of you." That made it sound as if it was first come, first served, but she entered the waiting room before 10:00 am, so it was randomized. At some point she was able to buy and a seat map appeared.
peace&love
ETA - I see lambski had a similar experience
Late to the party here but I had my first waiting room experience a week ago for the Rolling Stones concert. Had no clue what it was. We werent going for great seats so it wasnt a big deal but it took me almost 45 minutes to get through the queue and buy. This time I will try on the computer and my iPad just to see what happens. Also with the Rolling Stones, they only allowed you to buy two tickets at a time, max of 6 but it meant going back to the queue each time for two tickets. Those bots sure have made the system a pain.
