nica575 now that you're on line I have a confession to make. The other day you asked about a necklace that Adam wore in a photo from the UK promo tour and I couldn't remember it. Well the same night I went to bed and I saw the poster I had framed, from the Acoustic Live album and there was the necklace in front of me. And then I remembered that he wore it during the Lee Cherry photoshoot in that video from ET behind the scenes photoshoot ( if there is any excuse, when I look at that picture I don't notice the necklaces ) oh, ya! It DOES look the same - it was staring at us so many times and we just did not see it ;D ;D ;D ;D ..you know - the shape is the same, but the light reflection is so different that it is hard to see the resemblance... now that I looked closely - it seems that I see a monkey image in it...

Just a WACKY thought --- at the very end of the album production process two new collaborators were added -- Rico Love and Pharrel Williams. Neither have any connection to Adam but they are both connected to the CEO Sony Music Entertainment and to the CEO of RCA. Doug Morris, the new head of Sony Music Entertainment was formerly head of Universal Music Group. His stated goal is to reinvigorate A&R at Sony. He has relationships with many UMG artists and producers -- including both Rico and Pharrel. Peter Edge the new CEO of RCA Records was formerly EVP J Records -- where Pittbull is signed and Pittbull worked with Rico Love. (Another Adam collaborate is singed to J Records -- BC Jean). Adam said that there were a couple of songs that he did not write. Rico Love had never heard Adam sing before and he tweeted that he wrote the song. Pharrell seems like it was a recording session vs. a co-write.
RCA A&R often gives their artists a song or two to record at the end of the album process -- and these are often selected as lead single. My conclusion is the these two songs MAY have come from RCA A&R. (OK lots of assumptions -- but it does fit the info we know.) I'm with you for most of that Q3, but a few things ... Adam specifically say he WROTE with Pharrell during the Twitter party, then he said he was recording with him last night. Two different occasions, which would imply to me that they did collaborate/co-write and are now going back to record. I didn't take Rico's tweets as mean he's never heard him sing, but could be that he's never heard him sing live or be put through his vocal paces as he might have been in the studio. It's possible he's heard him on Idol or WWFM in passing, etc. Speaking of, this is a really cool assessment he gives at ASCAP forum about classical music training. Another guess is that assessment Pharrell gave at the ASCAP awards was from April 2011. The same night Adam & Kesha presented those writing awards to Max Martin and Dr. Luke. Maybe Adam met Pharrell at the ASCAP awards in April.

Just kidding!! Actually, it took me a while to figure out what necklace you were even talking about because, yes, it very much looks like a black matte stone there instead of blue because of the lighting and angle. I would never have noticed they were same necklace. (And ITA, my eyes go right past the accessories in those pics too Your amazing Malaysia I.D. proves that you're superhuman powers of recall are as razor sharp as ever. ETA: Another Neon Limelight story about Pharrell collab. Man, they're busy earning their bert points back from me. I unfollowed last weekend when they were live tweeting a Chris Brown concert and I couldn't take the gushing and TMI tweets about him. neonlimelight.com/2011/09/23/adam-lambert-working-on-new-music-with-pharrell-williams/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+NeonLimelight+%28%2F%2FNeon+Limelight%2F%2F%29

I'm a newbie to the current pop scene, but he is certainly articulate. Can't wait to hear what they came up with, and I think is is genius that Adam worked with him and Rico Love.
